rahulr
have you recently been in an accident? is the light continuously on or comes on and go again? you do mention coming on again and again but does it go off at all ... might be a problem with your car's control unit ... in any case .. you shouldn't be driving the car when this kind of light is on. Telling you out of experience.
alexr
Accident? Would you call hitting a curb an accident? but I got repairs after that and nothing related to the airbag came up. Might be a malfunction right.
franco
sounds like a malfunction. If the light stays on for long on the SRS then it can also influence the computer system. it might be malfunctioning since the light has been going on and off for a little longer than it should be. Are you saying that you want to know how to reset the light yourself? You can't do that without an OBD scanner which scans the errors codes and determines the problems. It also helps in resetting them.
noris
Oh I thought it could be reset like any other kind of light. Like disconnecting the battery or something. oh well ... i will be making a call to al habtoor again.
alexr
different cars and different models have different ways of resetting lights. Normally, you can't do so without a diagnostics tool. some cars however for normal servicing alarms have ways to reset them instantly however the airbag issue is serious so without checking what the OBD is saying you cant reset it. BTW people normally dont reset such lights, they go to the dealerships. Have your car thoroughly checked out. Safety issue.
