anoop
I know some causes of ignition misfire: Loss of spark: loss of spark is when when the coil voltage is prevented from jumping the electrode gap at the plug which results in damaged spark plugs and weak coil. Lean misfire: this occurs when the fuel mixture is too lean to burn because of absence of gasoline in the mixture. This can happen because of damaged fuel injectors and air leaks. Loss of compression: This happens when the fuel mixture is lost from the cylinder itself because it can be ignited. This is caused mainly by blown head gasket.
