kris
Hey guys Recently a friend of mine drive my 911, and he told me that the coolant reservoir is leaking from the car. I have never faced this problem before. Can anyone tell me how to fix the coolant reservoir leaks?
ronaldeve
Please never ignore the leaky coolant reservoir. Whenever there is a coolant reservoir leak, the system will always get overheat. In order to stop the leak one can use the silicon sealer to avoid the overflow of coolant from the reservoir. But if the reservoir needs to be replaces, then don't get lazy to do that otherwise soon the engine will be overheated. Also, make sure that the hoses between the radiator and the reservoir are routed correctly.
akbarkhan
Coolant reservoir is one place where you have excessive coolant stored in case the engine gets overheated. And i you have a leak in the reservoir, it's a serious problem. Get it fixed as soon as possible, otherwise the engine will start overheating and the reservoir my get damaged completely. leey
you may also check the cap reservoir, as it may leak from there.
