amitk Posted March 23, 2014 Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 It is very common in old cars in which the deign of the heater core is made up of metal alloys. These heater core are tend to attacked by corrosion and this is how the heater core continuously fail. But you can fix this problem by attaching the grounding strap on the heater core.
