As being 1st Day of Summer Please make sure all of you change the Air of your Tires to Summer Air, As hotter days apporach it will help your tires co op with the heat of Road. Specially those doing 4WD. its important to remove that Winter Air and Get Summer Air. Please while you are doing you Air check your Blinker Fluids too. Also is it safe to drive to fossil rock sharjah alone(one car with spouse & 2 kids). Dont mind for such basic questions as i have already mentioned i have never driven off-road. Agree with you all on dealers tampering with odometer. But i feel the dealer i purchased from is one of the reputed one. i can say they are number 1 in used car market. Though the price they quote is comparatively on a higher side but it comes with 1 year / 20,000 kms warranty. Also they have showed me the work done prior to delivery/after they purchased the vehicle. i dont trust anyone blindly but i felt assured by them. Lets hope for the best. 🤞

Hello Guys, I am joined carnity today. I have 2013 , 3.8 Pajero. Every time I accelerate my car there is sound from rear end like jerk or back lash sound, specially in traffic where we need to accelerate the car more often. I checked with 2 garages. They said this is common 4X4 cars specially pajero's. They are not able to give what exactly this sound and how to rectify this. Is this noise common in all pajero's. Please advise. Thanks, Rohan

Prado Owners. I have couple of questions in regards to 2016 Prado. Mine is GXR version which has navigation option. Any prado owners have updated their navigation? If yes, kindly let me know the process/procedure. Also let me know right tire pressure for prado for daily drives. it is mentioned as 29 PSI. shall i stick to it or any country specific TP i need to follow. Don't forget to change the oil for the headlights, in the summer these oils can get really hot and sticky.

Check you rear differential mounts. As when you accelerate there is load on the rear differential and if they are worn out they might also cause this issue.

I too agree with @Rahimdad the dealer used car warranty. I have bought a car and learned about this after I went to change my steering gear and got surprisingly that part cost 12000dhms from dealer and in market it cost only 4500 including labor. I approach dealer again, they don’t agree that as they can give warranty on their parts and workshop only. The most funny and surprising part was the warranty what they provide will cover to max 5000 and the remaining I have to pay to fix means I was fooled by the sales people when I bought the car. surprisingly the odo was also tampered which I came to know later when I plan to sell one of the buyer told me

Dear Experts, I have just joined this club. As im very new(Super Beginner 😁) in the area of offroading as well as im still exploring my new ride. i would request you to let me know basic kit needed for offroading including cost and from where can i buy. As i use my car as a daily drive. I may not be interested in any modifications at the moment. Do let me know the things which are must for basic offroading. My intention was to join the ride on 5th April,But to be very frank, im little uncomfortable at this point of time. Also i do not want to include myself now and back off later.

Not really sure if they have Friday prayers in the Mosque near Tawi Nizwa shops, but 5 minutes drive to the other side near the farms there is a Mosque I normally attend my Friday prayers. Meet me at 12:30 at Tawi Nizwa shops and we will cross over to pray Friday prayers and meet the convoy at 1 pm

A bit late to report on my first ride with you guys, but here it goes : -Pre-ride : The website is easy to understand and registering for a ride is very straightforward All the info on required gear and preparation is already on the website, very well organized and extremely easy to find. The ranking system is clear and shows that the club has a serious structure and can be trusted - it is an extreme sport is some ways! -During the ride Great brief by @Rahimdad , @Srikumar & @Emmanuel -> Felt at ease from the start, everything was covered in details from driving techniques, recovery methods, to safety measures After 20 minutes of riding on my first dunes, I got to experience my first self-recovery with the expert help of @Srikumar guiding me on how to master the 'bleep bleep' technique! I got out in 30 seconds ! At this point, I was getting fed up with my traction control and @hossein showed me the lights, literally! He showed me what fuse to remove to completely disable the traction control & abs 😄. After that, I felt the power, all the lights came on my dashboard (the xmass lights) & I was able to make my first jump 🤣🤣 The break was great and I got to meet & share a meal with most of the regulars that I see on a weekly basis now. Following the break, the convoy was eager to drive more so we drove for an additional 1h30 and I believe that it was at that point that was hooked 😂 We arrived at our deflation point and @Srikumar was kind enough to lend me his compressor so I can get going! I got home safely and at no point whatsoever during the drive, I felt unsafe or at risk like with some other clubs that I tried later on. @Rahimdad's lead was excellent for newbies with a good learning curve from start to finish. -After the ride It was great to find all the pictures on the gallery, you keep a trace of each ride and I now try to take as much as I can and share! Discussing the drive and getting tips was even more natural to do on the forum since I knew most of the guys responding, and it's a way to keep in contact between two drives! Sorry it's a long one !

Yes @luwaimn we plan to have 4-5 hours of offroad drive in that area first and then end with a family BBQ. @razeen hasan there is a Mosque in Tawi Nazwa area near to the meeting point. @Rahimdad can confirm if that Mosque has Friday prayer or not. If not I'm sure you can get Friday Prayer in Lahbab area, as there are several bigger mosque near the Lahbab roundabout, which is just 5 minutes drive from the meeting point. Hi Fuad, i have jammed more foam behind the mirors and now it 95% gone. The only issue is when I get the car washed, the foam is soaked and less efficient for a few hours. Ghetto solution, but it works 😂. I should try a more dense foam like a sanding foam for example. For the moment I’m using this 😂
