Thing is you give way too much credence to a woman's car buying thought process over the years I've learnt one thing. They have only one category the use to select a car. It has to be cute. That's it, Unlike men they really don't care about anything else. But then again what do you expect from a gender who will torture themselves all day long by walking in high heels just because they look good in them. And we men are suppose to be shallow!4 points

At Iftar Bowl - Once in a year all UAE Offroaders gathering This unique opportunity is not be missed, whether you are a current or ex offroader. It's a very rare and special sight to witness thousands of offroaders joining in one place for breaking there fast to celebrate the unity in diversity in the UAE. It's being held with unsaid coordination with all off-road clubs and approx 1000 car shows up every year in Iftar bowl area near Rafadah in Area 53. Whether you are fasting or not, it's a must drive to attend to watch the union of off-roaders and witness the love and respect that everyone shares in this small world of offroading. I have never failed to attend a single Grand Iftar Drive in the past 12 years and always enjoyed meeting some of my old off-road friends and making new friends. The plan is to enter from Rifadah side with the easiest track to reach Iftar bowl and secure a good spot - FIRST. Meet and greet, play at Iftar bowl - then break the fast and head for the night drive or exit if you like. When: 17 May 2019, Friday Meeting time: 5 PM, the convoy will move sharply at 5:15 PM Where: Rifadah Entrance GPS Coordinate: https://goo.gl/maps/BoTQvikrc1rheWYu7 Level of drive: Absolute Newbie - Newbie - Fewbie - Expert - Advance - All are welcome Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 10 inches of ground clearance What to bring along: Evening snacks, food for Iftar - whatever you like with little extra to share Approximate finish time: 8 PM or 11 PM Please RSVP on the below calendar:3 points

As we all are car enthusiastic at broad but still we have a lot of differences, so really curious to know, what matters the most for you in your car? This applies for all your past, present and future cars. Whether you like exterior the most and if the car is not meeting your taste you won't buy/drive, or is it some specific feature or creature comfort you are after. Here is my list of things that I prioritize while buying any car except my first car - when I was totally noobie to understand how a car works at the age of 19 years. Performance - Speed, Agility, Driving pleasure is PRIME Reliability - Shouldn't break apart as soon as it runs out of warranty Interiors - Creature comfort, features, gizmos, safety aspects etc. Exteriors - If it's pretty or a head turner, works as an added advantage. Feel free to jumble up the above list as per your taste or add more points if you like.3 points

I once had a motorbike, Kawasaki gt500, I named it Lucinda. I was dating a girl at the time named Lucinda and she was so happy I named my bike after her. Everyone used to borrow the bike to go and buy beer for the party. That’s why I named it Lucinda, everyone had a ride on it. When she found out the real reason the bike was named Lucinda she wasn’t so happy.3 points

Don't agree with hot shots. I've been involved in desert driving, marshalling major events and even organized my own event 4 years in a row. Never go alone, you never know when you need friends. We are all here to support each other, going alone will never be advised by me. Minimum of 3 cars for any desert drive required.3 points

For me it is peace of mind. Everything has to be perfect in my car. Little noise here and their within my car make me go crazy until i know the reason behind it. if i need to sum it up it will be as below. 1. Reliability - Shouldn't break apart as soon as it runs out of warranty. 2.Resale Value - Sometime if a ghost of changing car comes to my mind out of nowhere- it has to be disposed of quickly. 3. Interiors - Creature comfort, features, gizmos, safety aspects etc. 4. Performance - Speed, Agility, Driving pleasure is PRIME. 5. Exteriors - If it's pretty or a head turner, works as an added advantage.2 points

For SLK200 1,2,4 It is fast enough to have fun. It is reliable and it is taking too much attention.2 points

They will then need to get a formal PO from their bank who is financing it and this needs to be issued in favor of your bank. It should be the same procedure of transferring a property from one party to another with both being financed by the bank.2 points

There is always the option that buyer can make the payment direct to your bank and get the mortgage release letter over the counter. Even if the new purchase value is less than the outstanding payable to bank, you can cover the difference. This is a standard procedure. It's just that banks sometimes like to have sadistic pleasure by troubling you.2 points

Only heard one Nick name for the xterra. Nothing comes to mind with the Prado. But the ardent Jeep lovers always refer to their Jeeps with the first 2 alphabets their Chasis numbers starts with. So the Wranglers start with the YJ from 1992 to 1997, TJ from 1998 - 2007, JK from 2008 - 2018, JL 2019 onwards. The old Jeep Cherokee is referred to as the XJ. Commander was XK. Jeep Grand Cherokee of the old was the WJ if I'm not wrong. And the newer Cherokee was the KK after which Cherokee became like run of the mill AWD.2 points

Xterras : Al Tabaan : The Tired one LOL on a serious note, these vehicles have no cultural impact on the region what so ever so they are pretty much ignored. When was the last time you saw a local shabab driving a Pajero or Xterra. Prados started off well but then were demoted now rarely seen with a Shabab on board. Specially for harakat purposes or off road Specially after they killed off the SWB V6. And introduction of the FJ. The wranglers and Cherokees really didnt take off with the local crowd until the 2000s. Mostly popular with the expats until then, so they have yet to achieve any iconic status. But unfortunately both wet killed oft and replaced with crappy versions before they could, so doubt they ever will. Not real fans of anything after the XJ and TJ. Regardless of what happens the Kngs here will always be Neyzan and Station.2 points

Maybe we all should make a drive once and test our cars to limit. Trust me it's fun, we use to time ourselves going up back in those days.2 points

Ask them to reply on email as discussed, or write back with the advisor name saying as discussed this is what we agree upon, if they don't reply means they agree to your terms and conditions. But @Gaurav bhai is right, you should have everything in written.1 point

untilTime flies. It seems just a few drives back we were doing Ramadan night drives and its once again that time of the year again. So I am pleased to post the first night Suhoor drive for 2019. Plan is to have an easy relaxed newbie night drive from Tawi Nizwa to Pink rock area or Bidayer if everyone manages well. It's a perfect drive for newbies and fewbies to learn in the best terrain that gradually transforms and offers plenty of opportunities to learn and play. In the end, we will settle down in a good spot to have Suhoor before the dawn and return to tarmac before the sunrise. When: 9 May 2019, Thursday Meeting time: 11:00 PM, the convoy will move sharply at 11:15 PM Where: Tawi Nizwa Shops GPS Coordinate: https://goo.gl/maps/yYkFvPBzW3U2 Level of drive: Newbie - Fewbie - All are welcome Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 10 inches of ground clearance. Plan: Drive, train and enjoy until about 3 AM, settle down have Suhoor and exit by 6 AM What to bring along: Loads of snacks, Suhoor meal, plenty of water - whatever you like with little extra to share, water, liquids, smiles, stories, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time: 6 AM1 point
