I second that.. it’s all about the company and teaming .. all of you guys played excellent team work through the drive despite of the vast number of challenges (stucks, refusals, shoveling, tugs, winche, pop out, spare tire replacement, and finally a radiator problem).. everyone not only drove amazingly well on this often unvisited track with mix of hardcore technical and gliding through large dunes and bowls.. fantastic.. can’t ask for a better team.. and @Alex Raptorloved your new jack.. @Rizwanm2 hope ur car steering is sorted .. tried to call after we exited but ur phone was off; I guess you dropped asleep hope to see u all soon

What a day guys, we had a lot of fun, the teamwork ethic in this group is a dream, I think we had an early exit, for an engine issue, 5 digs and self recoveries, 4 tugs, a pop out, a wheel change and a cracked radiator, and we all left smiling so we must be doing something right, great route, a real mix of everything the desert can throw at you. I wasn’t able to upload videos to the forum or gallery so sent them direct to @Alex Raptor. I have added some pics to the gallery and later this evening I put up the pics of you all doing the climbs whilst Islam was mending the radiator. @Islam Soliman thankyou for a great morning… so much packed into the drive and a super convoy that supported each other. What an absolute pleasure to be part of today!

It was Indeed a drive that had everything we could expect on a wonderful drive, Thank you @islam for taking us through this beautiful terrain. Thank you @Ranjan Das and @Javier Lucero for your support throughout the drive, @Niki (Always a pleasure driving with you), @Christian Andras (for your support), @Russ (always love the roar of your monster) and especial thx to @Alex Raptor for helping us with his new toy, it was so much fun to fix my popout 😄. It was one of the best teamwork display I have witnessed ever on any drive 👏 @Rizwanm2 hope you get your steering pump fixed and its not contaminated with sand! See you all soon again in the sand!

Post Drive Report Some drives, it all goes to plan and as a lead, because you know you can rely on your outstanding support (massive thanks @Chaitanya D and @imranaasghar81) and a convoy that responds so well to the challenges that you can keep going and going. To be honest, I was worried that things might not work out because the map for the start point had been misunderstood, we started late and had a lengthy stuck all within the first few throes of the drive. And then, as if by magic everyone was making it through every dip, dune, mound and pocket. Blessed as we were with almost virgin sand: a combination of the wind blowing and a decision to focus at the start in a less travelled area, everyone was able to gain confidence, practice and put into action everything learned in earlier drives (even if that was last week's Absolute Newbie. As mentioned as we arrived at Last Exit, I did not make the drive easy or simple. The response outstanding. Undoubtedly, for some the route was quite a challenge be it the higher climbs, longer descents or complexity of the dune formations. Yet, we got through everything. How does that happen? Perfect convoy discipline. Today was a great example of everyone following the line, the numbering and using the radio in the proper way. [My personal apologies if the jokes were not understood or timley]. Listening to and following instructions. When drivers follow that route, dealing with refusals and stucks takes much less time and when you are patient and wait for advice on how to get through a difficult moment we can get much further. Drivers eager to learn. This hobby really does require a lot of learning by doing. And everyone did a lot today. No fear of the unknown. Everyone took to heart the principle that if someone made it through, then I can do the same. Especially in the technical dunes (no preannouncement or comment about them so there was no need to think about whether we were or were not in that section. We did spend a lot of today's drive practicing a key skill that will serve you all well for the future. That is driving across the face of the dune. Being able to do this, as we did today at low speed is a great capability to develop. Congratulations to all. We made it back to Last Exit. That's a great achievement. You can all be immensely proud of yourselves. See you soon in the sand.

Hello everyone.. unfortunately I had an issue with my cooler today during the morning IM drive and hence won’t be able to make it for tomorrow’s drive. however thanks to @Anish S stepping in to take the lead on my behalf the drive will still go as planned.. have a great one and looking forward for driving with you all soon. @Anish S thanks again for stepping in to save this drive

My first Fewbie drive and what a step up. Firstly, a massive thank you to @Tbone for an amazing drive. There was never a dull moment, even when we were crossing flat patches in which I could see @Gilbert Khaliland his FJ drifting, kicking up lovely dust plumes in my rear view @PaoloMaraziti, you were the perfect SL. I took a lot of notes from following you in. At times I put too much faith in my machine crossing ridges like you did but forgot that mine is a much heavier car. You live and learn. For the refusals I've put the rest of the convoy through, my apologies. @MUHAMMAD Kashif RAZZAQ, your guidance today has been quite the learning experience. Thank you for providing the feedback. And finally, thank you again to the Marshal & Muhammad for showing me how to deal with a pop-out. My first one ever and knowing you guys were around didn't make me nervous for a second. This is a lesson that's going to come in handy again I'm certain. I should have stayed more on the left of that ridge and powered through but alas, it's only when you go over do you realize where the limit is. Thank you all for a great drive. I think we covered 54km today which is the longest I've done so far. And with enough sand in the cabin and my hair, I feel so pumped right now See you all on the sands again soon!

That’s how we learn, we break things and fix it, it’s repeated process.

The funny thing about the drive, after my refusal on that heavy climb, we have gone through 2 other similar climbs, almost identical to the first one, however on these, the car made it through with no issues. I'll wait the new suspension kit to arrive, it will give me almost 2 more inches of ground clearance and the new suspension has more efficient action on the off road terrain. The stock is too soft, any minor bumps makes the front bumper to hit the ground. Not to mention the road radial tyres 😁😁 Guys thank you all for the recoverys. It was a fun morning. 😁 It was the same plastic fender 😂😂 This time I will use metal clips to assemble it back in place 😁

@Islam Soliman @Anish S i won't be able to join tomorrow's drive. Unfortunately my front bumper (lower part) got some hits in recent drives and today was its last one, i removed it and the coolant is now unprotected so I need to arrange for a proper skid plate to cover it.

The drive started at slow pace and gradually @Asif Hussainbhai has stepped up to slightly higher level after gaining confidence in the convoy and then came the real fun, really enjoyed all your drives and this one too. Hi Richard, Thanks for the drive today and the opportunity to drive in the middle. Really enjoyed it and it - wasn't too hectic and first pull out which was easier than I thought it would be - looking forward to more recoveries in the future.
