@Alphin Aloor thanks for your query . as far as I know about these kind of tires: on road : not that safe due to the less rubber grip on asphalt. off road : these due to its design the require minimal deflation if not at all , but as long as you are moving they are like magic. Once you stop game over even if you deflate them to the maximum limit they won’t help much in self recovery because of the geometry of the grooves on the rubber won’t catch traction and won’t help to grip and crawl. yesterday I was in pink rock with my son and we came across a LWB y61 driven by local who was stuck and having these balloon tires ( BTW locals they like it and I don’t know why 😄) .. tried to help him by deflation and attempt self recovery didn’t move 1 mm !! Even with the def lock . Eventually I pulled him by rope . ( the car was not that badly stuck on semi flat sand ) In my opinion for what we do every week these are not suitable tires. But could be useful for some one who regularly goes from point A to point B offroad without wanting the extra 2 min deflation !!3 points

Thanks Lawrence, I have crossed checked with @Rawad as well regarding the same thing for airbags. He has confirmed to me as well that there is nothing as such for our y62. He did say about ABS like you to unplug it but I have been on 4 rides earlier and didn't had any issues till now with it, maybe because of the newbie level. Still unable to find the fuse for airbag, tried googling it, reading the fuse box still couldn't help find it. As the current y62 members advice that it is not required then I guess I'll leave it like this.1 point

that should be no issue, we can send someone over to pick you up at the meeting point and guide you to the event location. Please do let us know on this drive topic what time you would be at the meeting point so we don’t have to drive back and forth the entire evening .1 point

@Warren Flay Sad to know you will not be driving with us anymore. All the best to you and your family.1 point

@Warren Flaysad to hear you will be leaving UAE shortly. Enjoyed driving with you. Always plenty of banter, especially when we had @Mohamad Anwer on the drives who liked to stoke the Pajero /Toyota rivalry!! Your beige (oh... I mean gold! ;)) Pajero is a little weapon. I am sure it will find a good home.1 point

@Arsalan Ehsanyou don’t need to do any of these in the Y62. The airbags in Y62 don’t deploy unless you are in an actual accident, we’ve seen Y62 stuck at angles where they almost rolled over (vehicle had two wheels up in the air from one side) and the airbags didn’t deploy. So don’t bother at all about it. The ABS kill switch will disable your terrain selection switch (rock, sand, snow). I honestly disabled it once and found myself enabling it again during the drive. Not just me but also other Y62 owners done like to disable it. but anyway if you insist there is only one way to do it, that is to remove the plug connected to your brake fluid reservoir under the hood.1 point

Thankyou Carnity for the opportunity to be in fewbie level and learn more about offroading. Special Thanks to the leads @Gaurav @Hisham Masaad @Islam Soliman @Frederic @Vanessa8580 @Kailas during the newbie drives which allow me to gain the confident and some basic knowledge. Thanks also @Vaibhav and everyone who has been on the manage which I could not mention one by one. Regards.1 point
