  1. Trip Report: Thanks @Hisham Masaad, for the great drive. Indeed Fewbie drives are different. and now im looking forward for next level . At start point, i have meet fellas who started the off-roading with me 2 months ago, @Frans M, @Bashar Beasha, @Sebb, @Glenn W... @Hisham Masaad briefed us on the drive and emphases on a very important statement, Don't Fight the Gravity.. safety is first just steer down and you could try it again... Simple words but have all the magic.. after then we moved to our first side-sloping were we did half-moons near the ridge.. and yes we made all nicely. thanks to Hisham guidance, my confidence start to rise more and more we start to do it faster and continuously... Now we moved for riding small ridges were i still need to practice it more because my boat ๐Ÿ˜ sometimes make difficult on me but it was achievable with Hisham comments on the radio and as i was watching @Glenn W car moving on front of me. @Bashar Beasha was driving greatly on those dunes with his supper safari.. On Criss -Crossing, the bushes decided not to leave him alone without a tire pop-out. which handled on no-time with support team help @Tareq Al Turq, and @Vaibhav @Mohamad Anwer was driving the legendary LC70 as second lead, he took very nice photos of his car near a big stone i dont know what they call it .. i did a nice clip for him check video . and now we reached big bowl. were @Hisham Masaad asks the intermediates to do it because its a bit challenging, meanwhile i was praying that he we would asks the Fewbies to do it. YES he did !! immediately i catch the Radio to ask his permission to do it.. after then all fewbies did it greatly.. Finally we headed to climb a large dune, we took a warrior rest and then headed to the exit successfully. Thanks for all drivers, Looking forward for another drive with all of you. I would like also to conclude by thanking @Frederic for his amazing post on Gaia GPS app on carnity site; which i ended by downloading it and subscribing for it. Also, i would like to thank @M.Seidam for his you-tube channel where i got inspired to create the my 1st activity video. chk short trip video here https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS8rnsSc1/

  4. @Imteeaz @Ranjan Das @MMansoor and @Zed Dear friends what a lovely short convoy in a lovely such weather . This is to confirm that the plan stays the same with one change of the meeting time from 7:45 to 8:00 Please be careful while driving on the tarmac from hidden side water ponds ( best drive on the mid lane ) . Take in account an extra hour due to the less than normal speed in some areas especially in Abudhabi and across Alain city . I will be leaving home by 4 am personally. my cell is 0554045278 in case of any emergency. canโ€™t wait to see you all inshallah tomorrow sharp by 8:00 am rest well and cheers ๐ŸŒบ

  10. Out of all the balloon tires I have seen with friends and drove their cars to test, Sumitomo Shaheen stood far safer for the road as they have a tiny bit of grooves in straight line tread that offers reasonable traction for the road. Stumble upon a better explanation while searching for balloon tire images

  11. Sorry for the late entry. Ballon tire started with Tisamia (means 900 in arabic) 900mm is the height = 35.4 inches since 2002. Later Sumitomo launched Shaheen in 2012, then a few more companies later on. They are primarily designed for the soft sand track, climb, and general desert usage with an "UNUSUAL" aspect ratio of up to 85-95 profile - 245/85/R16 to even 245/95/R15. This means when deflated you will have a "SUPER AWESOME" footprint due to a lot of rubber between the rim and sand. Along with a higher aspect ratio tread is a straight line that enables sand driving and climbing more easily and higher. However due to straight-line treads, self-recovery sucks big time, and cars with balloon tires are sitting duck even on the slightest of stuck. Yes, they are legal. Yes, they are highly unsafe for the wet road. Yes, they are very tipsy on curves.

  19. @Rizwanm2 thank you for a great drive this morning, really enjoyed it despite my 3 pop outs!! Lesson learned for me is that I canโ€™t run the same tyre pressure in the winter as I did in the summer. The penny has finally dropped but Iโ€™m sorry to you all that it delayed everyone today. @Haitham Khattab @Patrick van der Loo @Jona @Naim Aoun @Charbel @Ashutosh Garg a bit embarrassing for me, thanks for sticking with me, hope the delays didnโ€™t spoil your drive. Take care, see u all soon!
