  1. Well...well.. well... "it's gonna be a relaxed drive" he said... "not below 25psi" he said.... "90% 2H" he said... "don't touch kill switch" he said... With this confidence we started off, it turned out to be the opposite, nevertheless terrific! The first kms were pretty light and the biggest issue was @Looper 's camera, which requested an unconventional perspective. Once we entered the dessert things became very intriguing. The sand was soft and required a new set of skills to tackle it on nondeflated tires, it was an amazing opportunity to test momentum feeling and surface understanding. By the time we all agreed to deflate we made a good few loops and I was amazed to see that I made this far at 30 psi (which was supposed to be 25 but the heat did its deed). Even afterwards the journey brought adventures with 2 big bowls full of bumps which we had to fly over. Many reattempts, I was at the back, but I heard constant communications from the cars in front, which reached the second bowl. The suspense was unbearable. Still not a shovel in sight. We made through the soft nasties and were rewarded by a very picturesque roll through wadis and villages with the ocean view as a cherry on the cake. Thanks @Frederic for the route! Looking forward to more mountain drives! Thanks @Pacific and @Looper for the support and guiding the best lines in tricky spots! Great drive! Thanks all who joined! A

  4. What can go wrong has this week🥴 First a A/C high pressure line split, had a quote of close to 1300 to replace and recharge. Managed to buy the parts myself and do the whole job for about 400 including a trip to the service station for a charge. then the steering rack has packed it in, rattling like crazy, and today the starter motor gave up the ghost 🤬I think. has anyone had to replace a starter in a Pajero? What were the symptoms? This is very slow to turn over especially when hot. Some times it won’t turn at all. It’s trying to turn but just doesn’t seam to have the power. I have run a jumper lead from the battery to the block and tested the battery. Have also used a jump pack but still the same. removed the starter and tested it, does seam a little slow and rattly but I don’t know what these are like normally. (Shocked at how small it is) Disassembled and had a look, gave it a clean, the the brushes and the commutator seams ok. Bit of gunk but bearings and reduction gears are all free. not sure, a new one is about 1300dhs so want to be sure before shelling that out. any advice

Be prepared for a thrill drive in a non classical route from pink rock to big red ascending and descending back and forth till we find our way out . stay tuned for more to come approaching the drive event . 13. You seem to be a pretty genius to reach this far to test. If still not sure, if it's a starter or not, you can pick one from scrap for 200 dhs to test it. If that works, order a new one. If you need the Pajero scrap guy's number, lemme know.

  20. Great to meet you too @Ahmad Neratand look forward to seeing you on future drives. Thank you to @GauravSonifor executing a very unique and enjoyable drive. If it wasn’t for the “commentators curse” at the end it may have been a uneventful morning however it’s those last moments which is what makes these drives so enjoyable as everyone bands together to help each other out. And as you can see from the map below we were true as could be in holding 24.8 degrees. Next trip is 24.8 degrees squared 🤣
