ADVISOR This Advisor level is the cornerstone of the Team Carnity Structure as you will always remain an "Advisor" first even when you attain a Marshal rank. As an advisor, you will constructively help, support, and advise other advisors with "respect" being part of this big multicultural family. You can discuss or even question ideas at any level but respectfully and professionally by keeping all the dialogue exchanges confidential for internal use only. Your biggest transformation from an off-roader to a leader will be done at this level. With solid experience in supporting drives and handling recoveries, you will join the most comprehensive and power-packed Leaders Lead session. The Leaders Lead Session, which consists of significant homework and preparation in advance of the drives, will eventually teach you all about leading and navigating in the desert, extreme recovery scenarios, and learning to lead the convoy in the various terrains UAE has to offer. These sessions are conducted by a crew member, tailored specifically for you, and done for a handful of members only at a time. This is invaluable information and exclusive training that you will only receive at the Advisor level with Carnity. You will be learning the basics of leading the convoy in the desert in three different steps: https://carnity.com/store/product/73-advance-desert-leading-course/ Advance sand reading, planning your lead, terrain, level, and emergency exits. Lead with navigational software to systematically scale the lead for all the cars in the convoy. Ability to lead, recover and manage the convoy in the most extreme desert available in the UAE. Once you complete these 3 steps then you will be eligible to lead drives under supervision: Minimum two partial leads for any daytime Fewbie drives under Expert/Marshal/Crew supervision. Plan, post, and a lead minimum of four daytime Fewbie drives under Expert/Marshal/Crew supervision. You can extend above two partial or four full leads if you need more time to develop confidence. Once you successfully, complete the minimum of two partial and four full leads under supervision, then you will be eligible for your Expert promotion. Carnity Contribution Committed to driving with Carnity off-road club only. Lead/Support: Minimum 6 drives per quarter (3 months). Forum contribution to earn Carnity points. Skills required Meticulous planning and preparation. Ready for new challenges or unexpected situations. Leadership skills to always put the team before yourself. Car Worthiness Capable 4x4 vehicle with a low range gearing. Suitable approach and departure angle. High profile tires. Off-road gear required Safety flag, tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, shovel, fire extinguisher, medical kit, radio (walkie-talkie), air compressor, tool kit, rated recovery rope and 2 rated shackles, GPS, Floor jack and jack board, tire repair kit, toolbox, tie-down straps, fluids. Drive Joining All Levels. Forum participation Active participation on the forum. Share drive experience + feedback. Share drive pictures in the gallery. Post trip report after the drive.

Hello everyone I’m very glad to be the part of this amazing community I’m newbie to off-road and 4x4 cars culture previously was driving only sedans.

Thank you @Gaurav for this amazing opportunity! I've been looking forward to climbing the ranks within @Carnity one step at a time every drive has taught me new invaluable information, which I'm looking forward to teaching and demonstrating to new or pre-existing off-roaders. Since the beginning I've looked up to you, @Frederic, @davie c smooth operator, @Brette, @DP1011, @Islam Soliman , @M.Seidam, @Looper, @Srikumar and many of the other members of Team Carnity who have all individually supported me and instructed me from the beginning to where I am now. Thanks @Islam Soliman appreciate your early guidance and inspiration,, I was a newbie on your Marshall promotion drive with Fred, and remember the announcement in the car park at Qudra exit, and remember thinking I wonder if I can ever get to that level, and from then on I tried to join as many of your drives as possible so I could learn from one of the best at Carnity. I have now managed to get there, with a lot of learnings, and a few panic attacks along the way, especially when you suddenly realize that you are the guy, there is no one with you to ask what would you do in this situation. Thanks @Gaurav I really appreciate the opportunity you have given me to grow within the club, the time you have spent mentoring me and empassing knowledge and you have a vast amount of it to pass on. Your patience during LL I, II and III over a year ago, your help and encouragement as we went from novice leads to growing into the title of Expert, which to be fair I did not really feel I deserved at the beginning, and I also thought to myself on those first few leads, oh my goodness what have you done, how are you going to manage this drive and that drive, etc. But with all the training and continued mentoring when supporting your drives it now comes fairly naturally. You have a club that we can all be proud of, it has a solid foundation, a fantastic structure, with Community spirit and safety as its core values. Its a real honor to be a part of this amazing club, that is filled with amazing people from all the other Marshalls (I can say that now ) the other trip leads, the support teams and amazing members that come out and follow us around the desert. I have not driven for any other club since starting my journey with Fred on my master class, and have no intention of doing so. I feel that Carnity is a home away from home and enjoy every minute of it and all that it strives to install in its members. Thanks you for having the faith in me to move through the ranks and look forward to all and any challenges that come my way to help grow the club and mentor future leads support and club members alike. This journey would not have been possible without all of the other Marshalls and support members that give up their time to post drives and share their knowledge, so a big shout out to anyone i have no responded to or mentioned in my posts.
