You will see, once we arrive everything will settle down 😁. See you all in the morning guys! - Get some early sleep and make sure you are fully fueled once you reach the starting point. - Bring your jerrycan and ensure it's strapped safely. Even if not needed in the end, it's a good precaution. - If you have any space left, please bring some firewood so we can make a nice bonfire together. - We will use Channel 4: 446.081Mhz.2 points

@Taka @Bassel @Umair Raja @Gunjan Jain @Thomas54675 Thank you for signing up for the drive tomorrow. Please make sure your car is in order for driving in the desert. Weather is cold at this time, and even colder in the early morning. Take warm clothes. @Bassel, I did not see your confirmation for the above. Please take the time to read and check, to avoid disappointment if I cannot accept you in the morning. I will issue the convoy order at the end of the afternoon, stay tuned !1 point

Thanks very much @Luke K P for accommodating my request. I really appreciate it. I've let @Ishak know. If the third driver doesn't show up, I look forward to the drive tomorrow. Thanks again.1 point

Hi @Ishak Thanks for your message. It would've been a fantastic drive (I've driven with you twice with passengers and all of us have really enjoyed both those drives!). Sad that this one might not happen! @Luke K P was kind enough to accommodate my request so if it's alright with you (so I don't create confusion), I will switch to that one?1 point

Good morning @Ale Vallecchi I had signed up for an intermediate drive but seems like others have pulled out and it just shows me so I am not sure if it will go through. Hence, I have put myself in waitlist for yours and Luke's drive. You too already have a big convoy but still pushing my luck here. Incase someone drops out, please add me the list. Else, no worries and hope to drive with you soon in 2026! Have a great drive!1 point

Good morning @Luke K P! I had signed up for an intermediate drive but I'm the only one listed there (not sure if it will happen) so I have put myself in waitlist for yours and Ale's drive. I can see its already jam packed so just trying my luck. Incase someone drops out, please add me the list. If no, no worries, and hope to drive with you very soon and wish you and the rest a super drive tomorrow!1 point

Hello everyone! My name is Gaurav, I drive a 2010 FJ cruiser that I’ve had since new, I’m running a Dobinsons MRR suspension with a 2.5 inch lift, I have around 5-6 years of previous off-roading experience with different groups and different areas of the UAE. I have driven once with carnity 2 weeks ago in Nahel where I had the opportunity to take the role of the convoy sweep. My car is equipped with all the necessary safety equipment listed in the drive description and my radio is set up with all the carnity frequencies and my car has the factory tow hooks and a safety flag. Looking forward to driving with you all! Cheers!1 point

Hi @enigmark78, and welcome to carnity. During the newnbei drives you will not need to have a shovel nor trim the bumpers or do any modifications to your car. At the newbie level we mostly focus the the drivers learn the dynamic of their cars. However the skid plates are recommended on the higher levels. Just make sure you watch the videos and have your radio and flag, the rest we can further discuss during the drive :)1 point

Hello @Simon D and Everyone. My name is Raj and this is my frist drive with Carnity and providing the below details for reference. Mitsubishi Pajero 3.8 LWB White 2020 I don't have much off-road experience except driving on Jebel Jais and Jebel Shams (Oman) on a off-track with 4x4. I just finished the Masterclass wtih Gaurav and hope this will help me to kickstart my journey with Carnity. Yes I confirm that I have both front and rear tow hooks/eyelets. I will have the programmable radio (may be Crony MT777) and flag before the drive. Have few questions before the first drive. 1. Is it necessary to have shovel during the newbie drives. 2. Should I carve the edges of the front bumper or should i wait for few more drives. 3. Do I need to install extra fan or extra transmission cooler at this stage considering I got transmission heat symbol during my materclass with Gaurav 2 weeks back. But as per his advice I started driving in Manual mode and should I test with this mode for the next few drives. 4. I do have HT tyres now and planning to change it to AT tyres but is it mandatory for the first drive or can I wait for few more drives. Appreciate if the experts clarify the above points and hope to see you all in the sand.1 point

Dear @Myrko, @Giacomo@Glenn W@Alphin Aloor@Carl Stanley@Beide Worku@AlexM@nithish468@_Herman_@Amr A@Asif Hussain@Srikumar@DP1011 It looks we are having a very similar RSVP as last year Fantastic to see you all back and there is no doubt it will be another great day out in some of the world's biggest dunes. Our plan will be to stay high in the dunes wherever we can and taking in the magnificent sights. The camping spot will be the same as last year, as i was approached by some Carnity friends that they will join us at the campsite, which is fantastic. We can perhaps even hope they will light the fire by the time we arrive @Sam Selim etc.. Camp location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/BDBhzraCmssUwPQGA Convoy list will follow in a couple of days. Stay tuned !1 point
