  1. Hi @Niki Patel an 8-10mm plate in aluminum is a better choice. Since you drive an fj, finding a skid plate won’t be a difficult. Lots of garages already stock pre made skid plates for vehicles ( with fjs and Jeep being a popular choice). I myself have a 10mm aluminum plate installed on my car.

Hi @Jihad Hachem. Plant of places to buy your tires. Some are available online as well. If you purchase online some dealers will also include free installation and balancing at your location. They send their truck and change the tires for you at your location.

Which website sells tyres online ... would definitely look up 😁

  3. Hello fellow Carnity members. Hope all of you are having a pleasant day. I have started this discussion because as I have been off- roading for a quite sometime now and finally have decided to buy a new car. So while searching the perfect one, I was recommended by a friend to go for the Ford Escape AWD between the 2010-2012 models. However a certain instinct in me say that the car is not capable one. I have did a few research and found out nothing that much about it in the off roading scene. I really need advice now to whether go ahead with this certain model or continue my search.

  4. I have the ARB compressor system mounted in my ca r(the same picture which has been posted). I got it installed, below the front passenger seat. Ever since I have installed it all my post drive inflations have become less tiring and take less than 5 - 8 minutes for me to get back on the road. Really happy with it, only flaw is that I need to keep a check on it while the tyres are being inflated.

  5. I use a AOR suction mount and flag for my car which I got from ACE Hardware. It cost more than others, but the quality is very much better than any others I have used before also it the  has advantage that you can mount the flag on two sides and it can be placed anywhere . Haven’t had any issues of the flag falling of even once when I forgot to remove the flag and drove the car on the highway.
