Seems good, however I always had bad experience buying American spec cars. The 2003 model was one of the best Jeeps they ever produced with the Dana 44 Axles. However make sure you have a complete check and make sure it's not a 2WD.

thanks @Rahimdad  for the advice, i will have a look and test drive tomorrow and update. Only concern about American spec.

  2. Very big appreciation to @Ale Vallecchi for todays drive where he very well managed and took us in a new route with well planned, you did a grate job without even a single stuck and very few refusal. I really like the way you rerouted us in a safe patch. Really enjoyed the play area with 3 adjacent slopes. @Vanessa8580 and @Denizzalbayrak did a grate job to manage the convey through out the drive. See you all soon.

I was the wake up caller for my friends when I was in university. I wake up with the first note of alarm. If someone had an exam the next day, usually in Turkey students work hardest on the pre-exam night (To cover up the days of drinking)... They were calling me to set up an alarm clock and wake them up.

Some heavy sleepers even were staying at my apartment so that I can use physical force in case of emergency :D:D

I can do long calls to wake up if  someone needs :D

am thinking not to sleep at night 🙄, as i need to wake up at 3.45 maximum to reach 5 clock at deflation point. my wife says to take my blanket and sleep at desert 😖

Hi Shiju, if you intend to continue offroading at Fewbie and above level with your Pajero, you might want to trim the front bumper lower lip and get a stronger bash plate than stock as a start. Then as the next stage get a small 2 inch lift installed which will give you a very nice ride to comfortably push it through most places.

Having said the above, the learning what you get in driving a stock Pajero is invaluable. Offroading is about knowing the strength and weakness of your vehicle and working around it.

Totally agree with you @Srikumar and thanks for the advice.

Ahh yes my kind of man. Simple yet effective Mcgyver ideas.

P.S : it's zip ties not ziplock. Zip lock are the transparent bags used to keep sandwiches fresh! Lol

Am also doing the same zip tie with a small U shape bracket ( 2 Dhs at hardware shop) and the flag pole I use small dia curtain rod ( free from used furniture shop) and then covered with red colour insulation tape to look reddish, and brought a red colour satin fabric and made a flag and tied at the end. Total cost 15 Dhs.

  6. Thank you @Emmanuel and @Wrangeld for the amazing drive with lots of learning things, the sand is really soft and climate is extremely hot. Today I realized the importance of ground clearence in Fewbie level onwards. Got a hit on the front number today, lucky not damaged much. May be I should think to modification on the my car soon to fit for the drive.

Thanks to everyone on the drive today. See you all soon.

Photos will be uploaded in gallery.

Had a star shaped crack on my  windsheild when i was  driving on 311 , a rock flew from one of the truck and hit the windsheild...

Used windsheild repair kit from ace and stopped the crack from getting bigger.

Will change the windsheild but got some time to do it ..

any crack smaller than the size of a coin can be repaired. If you don't repair it, it will crack further especially due to the thermal shock here with AC inside and hot weather outside.

In your case replacement will be needed.

Hi @Frederic its bigger in size, better i go for replacement.

I dont think 3rd party insurance covers this. In my comprehensive insurance it is covered provided police report is available.

I would suggest you to take full insurance. In case car goes for total loss you will get money or else either you have to repair or get the money at scrap price.

My friends car had 3rd party insurance.  The car got fire due to electric issues. And he had sell at scrap price.

Hi @RohanH yeah you are right, basically i was not doing any long drive, except now we drive in desert, thats the reason last renewal i went for third party insurance. Thanks for your advice.

Hi @desertdude thank you so much.

Hi @Shiju Manuel and @Colin Jordan Unfortnately at the moment as there are no drop-outs. If anything changes in the next day and a half and vehicels are allowed, we will let you know.

Hi @Wrangeld thank you so much for the update. If not drop-outs, is there any chance to increase the convey numbers for two of us, as am really looking forward to join this drive.
