  1. Another great drive, Thanks @Frederic and @Rahimdad.

This was a great learning experience for me being 2nd lead. In my previous drives, I could watch the vehicles in front of me how they tackle each pass.

In this drive, I had to be more alert and instantaneous especially driving right behind @Frederic. So much more to learn. Looking forward to more and more drives with Carnity.

  2. Good Evening,

    It was a great drive today morning.Thanks @Frederic & @Rahimdad

My co-pilot was able to capture some great moments, have saved them in the gallery.

@SureshVNair good job in getting out from refusal, check out the gallery.  Also got a nice shot of @Abu Muhammad driving down smoothly followed by @Rahimdad diving down the hill.

    Thanks guys

I am glad to be welcoming all these brand new members (Absolute Newbies) to our Offroading Family. Some have been in the sand before, while others will be tipping in their toes for the very first time.

Rest assured that both me (Frederic, Little Blue Pajero), and (Richard aka Wrangeld, Little Green TJ) will do our utmost best to make you feel comfortable and help you to learn to take the first steps in deflating, establishing radio communication, and going over the first dunes with full confidence. This drive might feel a bit boring (or relaxing) for some members with more experience, but it is mainly meant to gain confidence in taking you car offroad and getting used to the settings and how the sand behaves under the wheels.

YOUR BEST introduction and briefing is all bundled in our briefing video below, which has replaced our long verbal briefing we did PRE-COVID. Please take your time watching the video, and repeat watch if needed to get the full basics in 15mins. This will make the difference between struggling and making your way through the dunes easily:

For the members who have clicked "Totally Agree" on the COVID19 post, thank you. For the members who haven't done so yet, please get this sorted, as this is your formal agreement that you will comply with the COVID19 precautions we have put in place.

If you are unable to make it, please send us a message on the drive-topic.

See you on Saturday morning !

    Hi @Frederic

I have not got a radio with me. Please let me know if this can be provided.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the club @Kailas

Kindly introduce yourself with the following information:

    1) Which 4x4 are you driving ?

    2) Any prior off-roading experience ?

    3) Are the vehicle’s front and rear towpoints in perfect condition ?

Please go through the drive post and click on the “totally agree”Emoji in the COVID-19 Precautions post.

The video briefing is also a Must Watch. Take your time to watch it as this video has replaced our verbal briefings.

    Hi @Frederic,

I will be driving 2019 jeep Wrangler sport 2door.

I do not have any prior off roading experience.

The front and rear towpoints are in perfect condition.

I understand from the post's that for first ride only the tyre deflator and pressure gauge is required. I will be getting them soon .

    Thanks
