@imranaasghar81 thanks for your kind words of appreciation. To be honest I'm not a pro photographer or pro off roader. Just because I have the tools I experiment. My equipment is only an entry level camera and kit lenses. My car is a base model without any serious mods. I just try to unleash the power of whatever I have in hand. The pictures I shoot in RAW mode and post process in Adobe Lightroom. Its an easy to understand and use photo editing software. I use a flatter picture profile like Canon C _ Log as the picture profile so that it will capture most of the dynamic range of the scene and post process them in Lightroom.

BTW your contraption on your FJ to mount the 360 Go Pro is an engineering marvel. Seriously its a wonder the whole thing holds the camera in the midst of all the bumps and jumps against the drag it creates. Hopefully you will make more contraptions and test them out so that all of us can benefit. Kudos @imranaasghar81. You are an engineering genius.

@Thomas VargheseVarghese your the man!!!! I'm glad you liked it I feel like i just got a 1st class degree after you said that hahahah! Thank you!

Sure . Lets go. Where do u stay . Ping me at 0558101449

Haha unfortunately I can't go with you I'm tied up. If you go. Park at GB then walk out and goto the information kiosk and they will direct you to the area that sell flags and off road gear.

Buy a Camel dual Compressor negotiate down to 250 and get a flag. Try and get one with decent suction. They are all in the same row of shops.

If you enjoy your session then next week goto an offroading garage and have them install a flat mount and buy a solid flag pole from them.

Delator ace sell one for about 20. But you can just use your key if it's easier until you get time to get a deflator. I'm sure dragon mart will sell it also.

I doubt you may have to roam all over the desert to pick up the fallen pieces including your camera if its not crushed and buried under the sand by the car behind you. The forces generated will be greater than what the rig can hold as its long. Moreover I doubt if it will affect your driving also as you will be more concerned about your rig and camera rather than driving.

Hi Thomas hope your well my friend just wanted to update you so far so good I adapted some of the parts to take impact and upgraded other parts to metal and it seems to be going well I'm looking forward on driving together sometime so I can take you through the build, you can check out some of the videos inside the channel on this link: (so far I've only uploaded 2 drives but more to follow)

  7. Hey Guys

Ive just joined and loving the pics especially the astronomical types! Amazing!

Ive new to filming and editing the drives and built a little rig to stabilise my 360 camera on the outside of the car to handle the rough treatment on the dunes and it seems to have done well on the last two drives with a few tweaks.

I have a few test drives  of the rigs on my YouTube.

Here are the last two "proper" drives I did.

    Hope you Enjoy!

    And
