Hope you all had good fun and below amazing stats - We covered just 20kms in 2 hours of moving time - That explains how technical this drive was and done this with No Shovel -No Rope - Is an indication that we can level up the technical challenge in next drive ;)

@Shaun J -  Well done on your first SL position - you did well on all communications and acknowledgements, + slightly adjusting the track where needed upon my instructions !

@Prithvi Raj @Rohit Deginal - The Pajero boys ! again, was nice to see how you managed the track, with minimal refusals, and learning the trick of steering and 4L.

@Rahul6157 Was impressive in how you handled your heavy beast - well done ! I know how not easy it was for you but you made it look smooth all through!

@Ben Lee @Nizar Shawwa The  SWB Jeep boys , making the most of the technical offerings , quietly and smoothly am sure you guys had good fun at the back !

@Sandeep Nayar You were impressive too at the end , dealing with those refusals all by yourself

and @Faraz94 - Haval power continues to impress - this time in its sweep position ! well done again there !

    - and as a convoy everyone did impressively well ( which i highlighted at the start of the drive as well)  however I had not expected we would be able to cover this in 2 hours ! am sure you all had fun too learning to strike the right balance of acceleration and steering  !  See you all soon in sand!

  3. Thank You @DP1011 for offering such a wonderful drive. It was quick and smooth & I enjoyed both being a second lead as well as the smart duration of the drive. Also, everybody drove really well.

What a beautiful drive indeed it has been . Thank you @M.Seidam for this pleasant gift that you planned for today.

Despite the dense fog, everyone was on pretty much on time - which shows how everyone was looking forward to this one ! Thank you for showing up !

To save time, even though it was foggy, we had our de-brief about 7.30 and waited for the fog to clear , but without any luck on it clearing. We then decided to proceed and enter the sand, to see if visibility gets better - if not , have a good time conversating in Sands. So finally the convoy was on the move at 8am.

Despite dense fog, the visibility did permit the convoy movement and we did a nonstop 45 mins of drive, for our first break.  During this time, the drive was with very fluid movement with hardly any major refusals.

The second half of the drive did offer a mix of broad ridges, technical patches and while with visiblity getting better , it did offer a patch full of vegetation requiring more focus to maneuver !  We had couple of refusals but all well managed by self recoveries - thanks to @Mehmet Volga anchoring the convoy in the middle.  Well done for your first SL job @Faraz94 - I noticed you were my SL from the time I reached the meeting point ;) - Well done on keeping that adequate distance.
Congrats all the first time FBs - @Prithvi Raj @Sandeep Nayar @Sohini who did well given the conditions today !

Guys at the back were also am sure having good time in this relaxed but quiet a few times requiring full focus on those drops ! @Mahmut @Shiju Raju  @abdallah @frederic demolder @Gautam Banka@Abhilash Kottakkal !

Considering the time limitations, I decided to skip the last planned patch of Murquab, which offers some more technical challenge without vegetation - which is my fav area of Murquab and hence we exited on time near the Mosque.

Thanks all again and this for sure is one of those rare drives which offered such fantastic weather.

Below some stats of the drive for your reference !

Thank You @DP1011 for leading the drive through such beautiful terrain and tricky weather 😄 This drive has been added to the *finest drives* list. Also thank you for giving me a chance to be SL for the first time, from which I definitely learnt a lot 😎

Thank You @M.Seidam for making sure that no one was left behind in the clouds 😁😆

Good drive everyone, see you next time ✌️

    Dear Friends ,

I hope you enjoyed the roller-coaster drive yesterday ,  unfortunately due to the wet sand it was not safe to take all the planned roller-coaster lines. we had a couple of refusals and stuck but nothing major.  everyone drove really well.

@Hugo you have been a really good 2nd lead

@Abdullah N congratulations on your 1st FB Drive, you have driven really well and i am glad that my advice helped you get a better control over the fishtailing issue, but with time you will get used to your car dynamics .

@Renier Venter you have driven very well and you have a good control over your car, well done!

@Sunil Mathew you did really well in the CF position supporting the the stuck and refusals . you allowed me to focus creating the smooth and safe lines while you took care of the issues in the back .

@Mohammad Sayawoush Azad you have done really well , i hope your kids enjoyed it.

@Robk i am glad that this time we didn't need to use the trunk of your gladiator for anything 🤣, you did really well and i hope your passenger enjoyed the ride .

@Faraz94 your off-roading skills are getting better every time i see you .

@Harshal thank you for sweeping the convoy . i have driven behind you last week and i was sure that you are ready for such a role. it is not easy to control such a powerful beast but so far you are doing great   .

thanks again everyone and looking forward to see you again soon,
