DRIVE DESCRIPTION

Welcome to Carnity Off road Club Fewbie drive.

We request every member that joins this drive to go through the below information and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquettes and responsibilities.

DRIVE DETAILS

Level:  Fewbie and above

When:  13 July 2024, Saturday

Meeting time:   17:30 (5:30 pm) - Sharp (Without any exceptions)

Approximate finish time:  21:30 (9:30pm)

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Mandatory off-road gears: Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit, Tow Rope, 2 Shackles and fire extinguisher.

Note: Please ensure that all of your off-road gear is securely tied down with ratchet straps in the rear compartment of the vehicle. Bungy type tie downs are not suitable for tying down off-road gear.

 LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 12 PM.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you find you are unable to join, so your spot can be taken by others in the waitlist.
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, if an RSVP attendee removes themselves, you will be moved from the waitlist to the RSVP list as an attendee.
• A convoy list will be sent out the day prior to the drive.
• Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month

Dear Desert Wanderers, @Jeandre Bezuidenhout, @Cesar Chacon, @Giacomo, @essam ibrahim, @Mark B, @nithish468, @Sandeep Nayar, @lucas amat, @Mahesh_, @Abhilash Kottakkal, & @Simon D. We will use Ch4 for tomorrows adventures 446.081. The convoy order will be as below at the start anyways

@Davie Chase @Simon D @Mark B thank you very much for the drive and guidance. I was scared of getting into night drives after my second drive with carnity in which I couldn't get the direction properly at all and was going down the dunes a lot. That fear is all gone after today's drive. 😃

Dear Desert Wanderers, @Jeandre Bezuidenhout, @Cesar Chacon, @Giacomo, @essam ibrahim, @Mark B, @nithish468, @Sandeep Nayar, @lucas amat, @Shiju Raju, @Mahesh_ & @Simon D. thank you all for a wonderful drive last evening, i truly enjoyed the company and the community spirit.

Thanks @mahesh for a great second lead, you did an amazing job following instructions to the letter and keeping a good distance so you could react to my instructions. 

Thanks to @Jeandre Bezuidenhout for sweeping us through the first part of the drive until we hooked up with @Simon D at pink rock. yon amazing did an amazing job of keeping me informed all the way and keeping the convoy together.

A special thank you to the busiest person on the drive @Mark B as always great to have you on the drive your knowledge and patience are where they need to be to take full command of the center of the convoy. well done and thanks for being there to support the drive, great job as always.

Thanks @Simon D for sweeping us from pink rock back towards red rock and then taking the lead for the last hour of darkness, always a pleasure to have you lead us.
