DRIVE PLAN

CAUTION: DO NOT JOIN THE DRIVE IF YOU CANNOT FACE SUSTAINED G FORCE AND DO NOT BRING PASSENGERS WHO CANNOT FACE SUSTAINED G FORCES.

g-force is a force acting on a body as a result of acceleration or gravity, in this drive we will test the limits of our capability to endure g-force; this time in Fayah, Abu Dhabi.  We will do countless short, small but intense sidees thought our drive testing our endurance.

There is a high likelihood of motion sickness for passengers as they won't be able comprehend where we are going, as it occurs when one's brain can't make sense of information sent from their eyes, ears and body and they will feel queasy.

IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IN YOUR CAR IS PROPERLY SECURED

DRIVE DETAILS

Level: Fewbie Plus and above
When: 25 January 2025, Saturday
Meeting time: 7:00 AM

Approximate finish time: 11:00 AM approx.
Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 10+ inches of ground clearance.
What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

RECOMENDED OFF-ROAD GEAR:

• Tire deflator & Tire pressure gauge
• Compressor (MANDATORY)
• Walkie-talkie radio (MANDATORY)
• Off-road flag (MANDATORY)
• Shovel, Tow Rope & 2 Shackles
• First-aid kit
• Fire extinguisher.

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 10 cars only.
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

Thank you all for signing up for the drive. It is going to be a roller costar, with a lot of twists and turns at least at the start of the drive. Later on, when we move though the Northside of the dunes to Tilal Swaihan it will be a technical drive. we are tired and feel like done with it we will move north to drive through some flatter dunes to quickly move to complete the drive.  

Meeting Time published is the start of the briefing unless otherwise stated, which means you should have deflated and ready by this time for the briefing. We will complete briefing and start the drive in 15 min max. Please take into consideration the time you need for deflation of tires, setting up flag and camera gear etc. and arrive earlier accordingly. It is inconsiderate to make others wait while you setup your car.

Guys I want to do an experiment. If possible, can you guys install "Garmin Tread" app on your phones - I will set up a group ride on my phone and all the members who have the Tread app installed on your phones can join the group drive I will create on my phone. Thanks in advance...

Once again let me remind you that this drive has a potential of a lot of quick twists and turns and while we will fight G-Force, we will respect Gravity. We start at Faya and end the drive at Tilal Sweihan near the Fuel Station.

We will wage our fight on the G-Force on Ch 2.

Great drive @Looper, really enjoyed it - thank you. The second half was especially nice with the flowing lines and convoy moving well. No shovelling or major pauses…we nearly got to baja style progression today!

Please make sure that you have exited the drive in the Tread app. I am reusing the drive link today. But make sure you exit out of the drive.
