Which Audi you prefer: Used vs. new and why?

Based on your experience, please share that which Audi you prefer to buy: Used vs. new and why?

I prefer gently used cars. The value of a car goes down significantly right when it is driven out of the dealership. I am perfectly fine with buying an Audi that has no visible damage but has been used for a decent amount of miles.

Brand new off the line. I want to put every mile on that beauty all by myself. There is nothing quite like owning a brand new car. The smell, the feel, everything. It's all yours.

I prefer to buy used, ideally 2 to 3 years old or a year old with higher mileage. Some makes like Audi or Jaguar seem to still depreciate faster than other makes like BMW for eg but their cars are as reliable in my opinion. It is is just the perception, although I read many times the new BMW 5 will probably depreciate faster than the A6 as it has many flaws!

I am in the market for a used 2012 Audi A6 3.0L TSFI Quattro.It is still too expensive at the moment but in a year or so, I am hopeful it will be more affordable.
