oldman
well dont rely on pure internet advise bcoz most of them hv no idea wht the real problem is, some may even say 20-30 min 1. Unplug the Civic's battery. Remove the gas cap to take out pressure from the fuel tank. 2 take out the rear seat track holding bolts. Remove the seat. 3 take out the four screws holding the cover on. 4 unplug the wiring harnesses and take out the clamp from the return gas line. 5 Unscrew the banjo belt from the gas line. Unscrew the 6 bolts from the top of the gas tank in a cross pattern. 6 take out the electrical connector and the green clip, then the plug black. 7 take out the rubber isolator from the lower clip and the bottom hose. There is another rubber insulator used again on the new fuel pump against body. 8 take out the clamp with pair of pliers. The pump will now be set-apart from the assembly. Install the New Fuel Pump 9 Install the fresh isolator on the sock filter and it will install on the new fuel pump lke how it was on the old one. Make use of a small socket and bit of pressure to install it. 10 Measure and cut the new fuel hose and install it, remember to loose tighten the clamp around first, 11. after you have installed fully, tightern the clamp further. 12. Plug in the harness and electrical connector. Thats how it works, and if you are not sure visit your dealer and get it done.
