Trunk would not open

I had an issue the trunk would not open. I can open it with override handle inside the trunk and no respite with key- interestingly if I pressed the release button on the key, it would not open. any idea why this happens.

Please check valet parking switch inside glove box and switch it off.

What Saleem mentioned, check that and if it still don't open electronically check the fuse box for blown out fuse. There is nothing else clicking that trunk tiny lock other then these two issues. Good luck.
