Gas, ask mechanic the cause of distributor failing. If its age or desert trip/unclean atmospher then its fine, otherwise pay close attn that why it failed as these car distributors are pretty hard to fail. What i am doubting is, it shudnt have some other spark plug or plug lead failure failed the distributor due to constant uneven current supply etc.
