pctacky
the other reason for i believe that automatic cars are more likely to cause accidents is as its very easy to get a automatic license the drivers with less experience have to deal with expert drivers on the road which make them nervous and then accidents happen. where as the manual license is difficult to get and takes longer time so the driver has enough experience onroad. zeeshaan
i have to say that loosing someone you loved in a car accident due to sheer negligence is not acceptable and should be severely punished by law..
narvan
RTA is trying to reward white points to safe drivers. hope this works these guys are trying their best to eliminate accidents that i can see with my own eyes standing on the yellow lines to fine the even come on the road to sort out jams. lets see as 2020 expo is coming how will they resolve the situation as DSF is a menace every year. tom
i dont disagree with the others and dont say that they are wrong but i agree with narvan that RTA is putting effort to solve this problem. UAE is still a very safe place to live.

highflyer
I have a different logic here after reading all of the msgs . People who drive manual cars are full of confidence and are generally well experienced. they have respect for the number of classed its taken them to get the license. where as its just the opposite. automatic car drivers are dumb heads who know how to relax and let the machine do the job so they become lazy and less alert. Conclusion:- Automatic drivers likely to cause more accidents then manual drivers.

najam
automatic or manual is not the cause the attitude is the cause of the accidents.
