purabh
when my 911 met with an accident i got the car repaired under the other guys insurance and after that my car has been taken to the dealer for clearing the codes. My worry is that it is almost a week that the car is with them for clearing the code and they are saying it will delay further. Dose someone know how long. iroc
What sort of codes or warning lights are there on your 911? Clearing a fault code does not usually take more than an hour unless there is a hard fault registered in the ECU. If so "what is causing the code" will need to be fixed first. Since it is at the dealership they should be able to update you in a day or two about the car's status. So the best is to call and speak to your service advisor. techy
Codes on average probably take a maximum of 20 minutes to remove with the software. They are probably messing you around. I dont even think you should need to leave the car with them at all. I remove them myself in a few minutes assuming the problem has been fixed. How much are they charging you anyhow just out of intrest.
