I had a bit of fairy liquid along with water. Works well.

Experts!! Though this topic may not be important. Just was curious to know about it. Is their any brand of liquid to be used as windshield cleaner. Did any of the Carnity Members tried DIY solution found on internet or Just water(I have come across various cons of using water) is fine. If any of the member are using certain brand, please give your feedback.

I have no issues with letting my friends drive. Strangers, why would anyone let strangers drive their cars anyways?

What was the actual problem? Claking on turning? This repair just refilled grease and replaced the boot or anything else? How much they charged? Have you tested full turn in 4x4 if it still claking or not?

Do other Pajero fans also freewheel for such a longtime before coming to a stop after being switched off? (2nd video) Looks to me a totally gone fan clutch. And for clarification purposes, close the hood of the car and let it get to normal operating temps before testing. If fan is still stiff after switch off. Blowing a good deal of air ( referred to as gushing over here) then its ok.

With this freewheeling fan, there is no way you can get gushing noise. Try again tomorrow, switching on AC and roll the window full down and start from home to traffic area, so you know what's normal noise of engine at idle. If its stay same in traffic and heat gauge rising, clutch fan is gone. There should be a loud significant change in fan noise as when you hit 2k rpm gas. If that noise doesn't come, its surely clutch fan need a change. Which year model? How many km? From how long own? Have you changed clutch fan before?

Trip Report. It all started for me trying to come out of area near my house, jam packed after the Tarawih prayers. This meant I was slightly delayed reaching the deflation point. Thanks to @Emmanuel who rounded up everyone and drove them from the meeting point to the deflation point. It was very relaxed as we chatted about different things before the newbie brief could take place. My special thanks to @Gaurav and @Srikumar for joining our drive. After the newbie brief and convoy numbering we were on our way. There were patches where we got some stucks and other patches which were easier to navigate through. Everybody showed great patience, good convoy discipline and kept moving towards our first goal of reaching Pink Rocks. After some easy bits we were treated to some medium sized stubborn ones and a final hurdle where we came very close to the base of Pink Rocks. We settled in a wide area to have our Suhoor. There was so much food and drinks, thanks to all for a very vast selection. After a filling Suhoor we shared some stories while others listened. During the Suhoor couple of us were treated to some shooting stars. At this point we all started packing up and moved on to the Pink Rocks where everyone played to their hearts content. 3 cars had to leave us here as the rest made way to the other side of Pink Rocks. Once we had crossed we waited shortly for Gaurav and Sri to join us. For me the true fun started here as we played in some awesome dunes. Although we did have a few stucks, but it was enjoyable to play in that area. As I saw the exit close I heard @AKR ask if we were going to exit with a request to continue for half an hour. I asked for a vote and majority were in for another 30 minutes. Once again a few stucks but still firmly touching the Big Red by now, I found a brilliant patch I could race through. Best part was the patch was still virgin and nice area to spend the last 30 minutes. But that quickly changed as some struggled to cross that area. In 2 hours we had the area churned up with very little space to move in. Being stubborn I took my stand that everyone should cross. The sun was out and sapping all our energy away. But with great support from the team and a little extra deflation we had all cleared the area and now trying to head out. From here it was an easy drive down and out to the tarmac area where we inflated and headed back home. Loved the company of excellent people around, good food and awesome team work. To be honest, I don’t feel comfortable at all with this idea, unless I know the driver (not only the person) very well. I always have a second of hesitation when it happens that I have to leave my car to a valet for parking or even to a mechanic for testing. I would be curious to know if I am the only one here ?

Putting dish liquid or shampoo makes the wipers last bit longer from what I have seen...

Hahahaha I feel the same buddy ! If i know the person and their abilities then it’s all good to me. If it’s a guy that considers the car like a piece of junk like some mechanics or valet guys around here then i gladly tell them to take a hike.

This is a new update now and let's be clear with your feedback if you don't want parts gamble Does car is overheating in stop and go day time traffic? Or overheating whenever hit certain speed or RPM? These both are different causes and we can advise you further on how to clearly diagnose what is wrong.

I tried a few brands from ENOC - US and German make for a fun and then used dishwashing liquid too. Couldn't find a damn difference and now Im lazy to put anything, unless service guys put it.

@Rahimdad every drive I come for it gets better and better. Loved the way you tried to show me that my car just wouldn’t get stuck no matter what you tried 🤣

Dish washing liquid works very well, no particular brand used for wiper washer liquid.

I have used several windshield washing formulas, but been using the dish washing liquid now (easily available in the kitchen ). https://www.amazon.ae/Xcessories-Windshield-Washer-3-78-Liter/dp/B07MVWTF8P?ref=SQAE-WEB-DP301 The best way to remove that oily film on the inside of your cars windshield is by spraying about 2 ozs of white vinegar.....spray on and wipe of with a clean micro fiber towel or any old paper (news paper)

I use very small amount of head shampoo works well...

For me the high price of parts compared to the actual price in other countries. If somebody worries about the depreciation then they don't really understand car ownership. Cars depreciate and no matter how many mods/upgrades you throw in there you will never get your money back.

Difficult and expensive repairs. Rest not much at all.

RIP Fan clutch. Fan should stop soon after the engine is switched off. Yours is freewheeling like a bicycle tyre. Get the fan clutch changed.

@Rahimdad it was a epic 12 hr drive, night drive is all together a diff game, unlimited fun.

Off-road lights are recommended. Since you will be following other car, stock light with high beam is more than enough.
