Why dont you try looking for oem springs for the lwb version, since it is a heavier car it sould give you a lift in the rear on the swb I remember for the land cruiser you got different rate springs for the diesel version and the one with bench seats facing each other ie troop carrier since it was supposed to carry a heavier load. I remeber I used the coils of a V8 grand cherokee on my inline 6 XJ and got 1.5 lift from them

I dunno just doesnt seem right for some reason. Having that extra aura sense to increase situational and spatial awareness cant be a bad thing. You can drive but with one less sense. But then again people can drive at 140 in heavy fog where they can hardly see beyond their hood. Im sure you can manage without ears

Due to road noise and wear and tear, i chose to make them removable by mounting them on rubber magnetic pads and the cable goes to an outlet plug which I put in the engine bay. Takes me 5 mins to install or remove them and they stay in perfect shape. Mines are from Eyourlife, à Chinese Amazon brand. Probably still 3D from what I noticed, but nevertheless happy with the results.

Just an update, was not able to source the transmission hose anywhere in Sharjah too so I ended up getting the aluminium welding done to the old hose and it seems to be working fine now. Just need to get the ECU reset now since the transmission oil was changed. Thanks for all the suggestions guys and see you'll soon.

I am also one of the person listening really loud music. If anything goes real bad on car there will be vibration also not just sound.

My concern is not to lift other than what I was using (barely 2 Inch) to not to disturb the geometer of IFS, that already cracking my front axle once every two years. I was very happy with ride height and stiffness with 2 inch spacer + OEM spring + torsion twist. Stock adjustable shocks has enough travel to accommodate 2 inch lift happily without loosing any on road comfort. Looks like in today's little jump or landing either spacer failed and move spring and broke it or spring was just old to take any more load. So now opting for new coil spring with 2 inch lift is my best bet. While researching now, it seems Patrol GQ spring fits perfectly with 2 inch lift in Pajero, but I can't get clarity of swb vs lwb Pajero, so if anyone has a GQ stock springs, I can try before I buy.

Seeing is underrated. If you don’t spot the flashing blue lights 500 metres away in your mirrors then maybe you shouldn’t be driving.

All these marketing jargon and tech spec aside which maybe hard for layman to test/verify, after my first bad experience I went with the self testing technique. I tested 10 different lights in various brand shops, that they were happy to hook up on small car battery and give me a demo.

Sorry to say that has never happened to me. Even on that long boring 120kms dead straight to Liwa via Hameem. Even while coming back in the night in the times when it had no streets lights and all you saw was what your headlights lit up. I just moved back to Sharjah after living in Rak for over a year. Drove to and fro on that road more times than I can remember. Last 3 months was brutal wife drove to bussiness bay at 5am and then back to rak by 9 daily. Before that I was driving twice to Abudhabi daily for over a year So long boring drive is no excuse in my book!

I would not buy only based on the type of LED. A 5D would not necessarily be better than a 3D. You need to look into the Lumens delivered per watt used and the color temperature, I would get something with a color temperature between 5000K to 6500K. Less than 2000K: gives off a dim glow of light, similar to what you might find from candlelight; best for low-light areas where ambient illumination is welcomed 2000K-3000K: gives off a soft white glow, often yellow in appearance; best for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and outdoor spaces 3100K-4500K: gives off a bright amount of white light; best for kitchens, offices, work spaces and vanities where task lighting is needed 4600K-6500K: gives off a bright amount of blue-white light, similar to that of daylight; best for display areas and work environments where very bright illumination is needed 6500K and up: gives off a bright bluish hue of light, often found in commercial locations; best for bright task lighting

Its the type of lens that spreads the light generated by LED Cree bulb. So as you move from 3D to 6D a small Led bar would generate more light spread than a lower number LED light bar. In Toby's i recently saw a single line 24" or 32" (dont remember the exact size) 6D light bar which generates the same amount of light spread as my current double line 52 " 5D led light bar. But before buying check where you plan to mount the light bar in your car and get the desired measurements and then go shopping. Also, get a proper wiring with a switch + fuse installed

It's only brightness is the main difference and that itself MATTERS a lot I got a dinky light for below bumper (maybe 3D or 4D) without knowing this and didn't felt any big difference. Then I got the 6D for the top and that made a huge difference that I can see 100-200 meters clearly

@Srikumar can you explain some basic differences between 3D 4D 5D & 6D ??

And 6D being the best in brightness, go with that only.

When you are buying, check the kind of lens because you get them in 3D, 4D, 5D and 6D lens as well. You can read about the difference on the internet.

Don't forget to plan before hand where you gonna stick it first as there is no meaning in getting a 50 inch bar and having a 24 inch space in the bumper....
