I know I might preach a lot on carnity about jacking cars but I do so with reason. I know too many people who have been hurt or killed by cars falling on them. One old guy I used to restore cars with made it to 70 years of age. He made a mistake and got squashed to death by a shitty Opel ascona. Hardly a car worth dying for. He lived a happy life. Could have spent another 20 year playing guitar and smoking ganja on his porch but he got killed because of a stupid mistake. 70! He was a really good friend. I learned a lot from him. Then one day he was gone because of a stupid mistake. Never work under an unsupported car. A hydraulic jack doesn’t provide the support you think it does. I can tell you horror stories which end with my head getting nearly squashed. Spend the extra money. If you’re buying a jack, buy a pair of axle stands. It could save your life.

Music theory isn’t the be all and end all that some people think it is. You try stuff, it either sounds good or it doesn’t. If it’s good, you record it. The best music comes from the heart, not mathematical calculations.

I just want to go back to work. Spent months sitting in the house hunting for jobs after the owner of my previous company got involved some shady criminal stuff and skipped the country. Finally got a new job and this happened. No gym, no pool, no beach, no outdoors. Netflix and Xbox gets old fast when you aren’t even allowed out to go for a walk. That’s all I want now, to go back to work.

Gents, Quick question, Can cruise control be installed on Toyota yaris/corolla, which did not come factory fitted. I checked some websites and it says it can be done pretty easily, (needs only the cruise control lever to be bolted and wiring connected like plug and play). But when I spoke to service advisors at Toyota and Dyna trade, apparently it cannot be done. Has anyone, tried installing..? Can it be really done..?🤔 Farooq

Just want to go back to work. Took few months to get this new job after redundancy and ever since been waiting to get a normal life. Lockdown kills when waiting for such normalcy.

Totally agree with @Rahimdad comment on check your warranty if car is still under warranty. @Frederic I hear you and know the reason why you feel this based on couple of news incident. Remember all those failed cruise control were stock OEM cruise control and not aftermarket. So if one in million failure chances are there, then they do exist whether it is OEM or aftermarket. However I totally agree that chance of failure maybe tad higher in aftermarket ones. But all after market parts has certain level of risk involved, but still everyone goes for it - knowingly or unknowingly. Installing aftermarket music system can cook the car in fire due to bad wiring job. Installing aftermarket theft control can leave owner stranded - happened with me. Installing bigger tires can cause strain on drive line and cause premature failure. Highly modifying the car engine can result in serious blast off (fire) or other component failure. Adding fan, gauge etc. can also cause small human error or product failure or faulty switch, wire, fuse can cause instant fire. Let alone aftermarket parts or modification, simple defer maintenance can kill your car in minutes. @Farooq Zeshaan see if you can afford the OEM cruise control stick from toyota, its better. Finding OEM from scrapyard is better than aftermarket, just make sure that scrappy remove that stick in front of you, as such electronics parts goes bad due to rough handling and dirty storage.

As per below video Yaris already have cruise control. If you meant to buy Yaris w/o cruise option and then adding it on, then it must be very easy as aftermarket kit need to add the cruise control stick (switch) on steering wheel with minimal efforts. Generally if any car comes with such option, then its easily doable than if that model never had that option. And don't worry about Toyota Advisors or Dynatrade as they are trained with NASA precision replies that any request 0.00001 mm left or right as per company standards = Not possible, not existing, not allowed, will create a ozone hole bigger.

Looks like they’re lifting it to change the wheel? I’ve done it plenty of times myself when worked in the scrapyard and had access to a forklift. I would never go underneath a forklift though, not even put my hands under it. I had a car up around head height on the forklift once to remove a subframe and one of the chains snapped on the forklift. Got lucky, only one broke and I got the heck out of there, the other one held the car up. A week later a friend in a neighbouring scrapyard was doing the same thing and the car fell on him. Broken legs, broken hips, broken ribs, lucky he wasn’t killed. That put an end to everyone in the area working under cars on forklifts.

And not a single tear was shed.

Sorry I dont know any place in Shj, some other Shj resident might help. My advise is to put on recovery and take it to mechanic, because if this rattling is internal, it might be catastrophic if something snaps and hit timing component.

Set up yesterday and printed the first bunch. Quality is not as crisp as inkjet, but totally acceptable (9 out of 10) if it delivers the same amount of claim print outs. Packed with all the ink and even 1 spare black bottle seems quite generous to get started.

Hi @Gaurav I checked the ac as well. No difference. Buy the way I opened the radiator cap and spill some coolant. Also radiator cap was changed recently due to leak. Can you recommend a garage to get it checked.
