Dear dune surfers! I hope all is set for tomorrow morning and I expect all signed up to join the drive.. we will be ready to move by 5.20 pm and spend some time watching the rising sun and then head towards the little sweihan area making our way to eventually cross “Knifes Edge” which is considered one of the difficult technical patch. please ensure your recovery gears are in good condition as each one will be responsible for recovery for the car in front and back. @hisham will be anchoring the convoy in center with @Zixuan Huang - Charlie in the sweep. All recoveries will be done under the supervision of support team. I expect all members to try self recovery without guidance on radio, unless the situation is critical as determined by the car with clear view. Convoy order is as below: we will be using radio Channel 2. see you all tomorrow!

Hi all, this is not a drive review but a message to all of you. I was on a longer break (because the morning drives at 5am are not exactly my time) nevertheless I came back and felt like coming home. It felt good to see so many known faces and cars and everybody is coming with a smile and is ready for a smalltalk! I really, really liked the spirit yesterday and think that carnity nails what we are all looking for: looking for fun in this awesome and big sandbox out there! Special thx to @M.Seidam for spending the evening with us! And another special thanks to the whole group!!! have a happy Friday…c u out there!!!

Looking forward to the drive after a vacation gap of more than a month... @Ale Vallecchi just to let you know that i will be joining in my new avatar.. a 2015 Fortuner V6.. my profile is updated with the change Sold my jeep before it starts biting back 😄😉 And decided to upskill myself by driving a not so popular/capable car 🙂..testing the newbie waters as a start

Dear Desertnauts let's prepare for our excursion on a very little driven terrain, where mostly locals roam, and where all kinds of off-roading skills will be tested. Thankfully, the convoy will be quite experienced, so we should be able to maintain a brisk pace, and add some learning options to the menu. We'll try to build up the drive all the way to almost its end, when, just before exiting, we'll have fun riding the soft red sand bowls that overlook Tazi Nazwa. The convoy order will be the following: @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler in Second Lead @Anthony Cupit at #3 @James Lovell #4 @Usman Basit at #5 @Thomas Varghese will be at the Center of the convoy @Ali Shah at #7 @Andrei S #8 @Arshad Roojee at #9 @salah2u #10, and @Sunil Mathew in the Sweep. The radio channel will be confirmed at the meeting point, which is just after passing the village of Lahbab, on the way to Badayer. See you all on Saturday PM.

After a long break from sand, just as the doc recommended, its time to be back in Faqa and explore the beautiful terrain.
