  1. Thank you friends for joining the drive. Being my first lead of NB drive, was really good experience. Most were at the meeting point a head of time. Briefing done, and believe all was really keeping attention to points for a safe drive. Started moving, till we reached the pink rock, and was really amazing to see all made to the top in a short time. After that started moving again aiming to reach the big red. I can say we didn’t have any issue climbing the dunes, well done everybody. While moving to the big red, we started having some refusals, stucks and one crest. Good learning and experience for all. Thank you very much @Brette for your support, and guidance to have this drive successful. Thank you @munkybizness @Simon Dawood for your support. @brettaevans hope your bumper will be modified soon to hit the dunes again. @Sayed Bilal I think you need to practice and know your car more, to enjoy the desert more. Vtec for sure can do much more, it will come by time. @Nathan L glad to meet you for the first time, amazing job, well done @premindra rajaram glad to meet you for the first time, you have a very good car, only as mentioned to you, you need to push your heart to allow to push more on the gas to go over soft churned areas and side slopes. Well done @Benjamin didn’t hear your name through out the drive, means good job @Ajit John good to meet you. you are driving a very nice capable car, more drives and experience will help making more use of it, well done @Paul Zietsman nice to meet you, again well done. One crest with your monster is nothing @Rajat Verma nice to meet you, you made it perfectly. Hope to see you in higher levels soon Old friends and unofficial support team @Vaibhav and @Mohamad Anwer, thank you very much for your support. Thank you all again, and look forward to see you again in sand. Nice week ahead Take care

  2. Congratulations @Hisham Masaad for reaching the Marshal level with Carnity Offroad Club. Hisham joined Carnity in late 2020 with his FJ Cruiser and loads of passion and excitement to conquer sand dunes. With a very humble beginning and a great helpful attitude towards all off-roaders and carnity management, he has quickly positioned himself as an integral part of the carnity family. With time, patience and skills he has taken on new challenges and tasted the maximum adrenaline offered at a higher level and pace of drives. His extreme passion for sand driving, leading and supporting off-road drives made him rise through the ranks to become a vital part of Carnity off-road club. His contribution and intelligent support behind the drives, planning and great teamwork were always been highly appreciated. MARSHAL is one of the most prestigious and sought-after titles that comes after a lot of hard work, patience, tolerance, and dedication. Just like all the levels in Carnity offroad club is "NOT" only based on driving skills but instead based on the combination of your personality + intelligence + team spirit + adventure. This Marshal title is an epitome for all levels in the offroad grading structure. So if anyone wants to grow, they can set any of Carnity Offroad Club Marshal as a PERFECT example for not only following the driving skills and style but also observing their behavior, teamwork, presence of mind, calculative approach, patience and tolerance to teach and support new offroaders.

  4. Dear Sand Sailors Thanks for joining in the drive today. As it was to be The Fellowship of the Ring completed the loop we had set out for. And for this first and foremost, a loud shout out for the Platoon leaders @Chris Wing @Ranjan Das @Rob S and our CF @Looper, you guys guided the convoy like Gandalf and ensured all refusals, stuck, pop out (the one) were fixed in fast and safe way. Thanks a lot for your continuous support and for keeping the convoy motivated throughout this treacherous terrain, It was quite a work today with ropes, shovels out regularly, you handed it all with smile and patience. Also, as i had mentioned even before we started, it was one of the most challenging drives to be a SL. Thanks @Senthil Kumar our Samwise, for managing the role brilliantly. Sand was soft and terrain demanded me to make adjustments quite regularly. Your red wrangler in my rear view mirror, kept me going with the plans. Understand you had some issues with radio transmission - as you go up the levels, this is a critical tool in your hand, so make sure its fully charged always and if some issue, would be good to get it fixed. For the rest of the convoy, you all were amazing today. This terrain is one of the most challenging areas in Dubai - with steep bowls cluttered close to each other. As we well experienced, one stuck and it becomes extremely challenging for rest of convoy to cope in this area. However, we all came out unscathed with smile on our face, having completed our planned route (a bit shortcut but thats part of the game) is in itself a testimony to your skill set and overall this convoy's ability to work as a team. And as we heard repeatedly and experienced first hand throughout this drive - radio communication and convoy discipline are of utmost importance - there is no scope for laxity on any of these and there's always a room for improvement. @Salim Akhtar - A pop-out, and some refusals - welcome back to sand Hope you enjoyed our small little sweihan here in Dubai. @salah2u and @Mahmoud Taha - apart from couple of refusals, you both did really well throughout. @Tareq Al Turq desert offered a nice warm welcome to you today - with some picture perfect stucks and refusals. Overall very well driven, not easiest of terrain to explore after a break - but you managed it well. @Haitham Khattab @Amr Aydin and @Imteeaz - another smooth well executed drive for you all. Thanks all and hope to see you all soon. @Rob S - congratulation on completing your 50 drives with Carnity. Was good to have your their in convoy today.

  5. Thank you @varunmehndiratta for leading us today in this challenging terrain. I can now relate why you call it little Sweihan. I enjoyed all parts of the drive especially the Ridge Riding in the beginning of the drive and side slopping small Bowls of little Sweihan. Thanks to the amazing platoon leaders @Chris Wing @Ranjan Das, @Rob S , @Looperfor their continued support and clear instructions to make sure everyone is safe, and great SL by @Senthil Kumar. shout out to all convoy members, pleasure driving with you today. See you all soon

  6. Thanks for a great drive this morning@varunmehndiratta! a long convoy through little sweihan wasn’t going to be easy, but the platoons managed it! Soft sand and tight dunes created some challenges today, but those are the times where our skills are challenged and we develop! Stucks, refusals and pop outs were all resolved quickly today with all of the team lending a helping hand. As was mentioned a couple of times during the drive, our radio is key communication tool in the desert so good reminder for all: remember to let people know when you have stopped or have a refusal, and make sure you acknowledge and follow instructions carefully.
