  6. @Looper, the oracle @Gauravhas commanded that we are to leave all ropes behind. πŸ˜…. I believe this is a brilliant idea, especially if it means @Bravoechohas to self recover 🀣 with a spoon 😜

  7. Source Phases of energy production The 13MW 1st phase uses photovoltaic solar (PV) panels and became operational in October 2013. The 200MW 2nd Phase uses photovoltaic solar (PV) panels and became operational in March 2017. The 800MW 3rd phase uses photovoltaic solar (PV) panels and became fully operational in November 2020. The 950MW 4th phase combines 700MW from Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) and 250MW using photovoltaic solar (PV) panels. A total of 417MW of the 4th phase using PV and CSP is already operational The 900MW 5th phase uses photovoltaic solar panels, A total of 600MW of the 4th 5th phase is already operational The 1800MW 6th phase uses photovoltaic solar panels (PV ) . It will become operational in stages. Source PS Edit: seems there is a typo at source regarding the 5th phase energy production.

  14. @LooperLisaili sand was wet today and it seems cloud-seeding rain is going to be more frequent, so you may not need so many ropes.

  18. I have a sneaking suspicion that the top tank of my radiator has cracked 🀬, have a coolant stain that reappears next to the overflow spout. has anyone changed their own radiator in the paj? Any tips or tricks? my main concern is the transmission cooler in the bottom of the radiator. Can you just clamp off the transmission lines so you only have to top off the transmission? How much fluid did you lose out of the transmission? I have a radiator so will tackle this today or tomorrow, have new hoses as well to change. thank you

  19. I don't know about you @Felix Obstbut i'd be having a great morning out with these guys in my Patrol: @Abhilash Kottakkalas the BF Goodrich tyres have a much sturdier sidewall, you will find they don't even look deflated at 12psi. You will need to probably go to 10psi and do some trials to see if you find improvement. The KO2 from BF Goodrich is a fantastic tyre, but for sand and especially if you are driving a car that's already a bit underpowered, it will not work in your favor.

  20. My Pajero has this specific clip. Overflow Hose Clip - Mitsubishi (MS660205)

  21. I think it should have a thin metal clip on the rubber hose, which may be causing a small leak and underneath plastic showing the coolant sediments. To be 100% sure, remove that hose when the car is cool and give it a clean with a brush under that pipe to investigate if the top tank is leaking (then go with M-Seal) or rubber hose needs metal clip.

  22. That discolouration is indeed the plastic that's giving in i think....

  23. Use M-Seal on all cracks or doubtful areas until you replace the whole radiator. M-Seal will hold twice the radiator pressure and heat, we have tested M-Seal on emergency repairs many times.

  27. πŸ‘† Did you get that right? Carry all the ropes you can, bring out the shovels (not spoons), we are going to be the undertakers of what could probably turn out to be an insane drive. Should things go south we might find ourselves stuck in really sticky situations, and we will need all the energies we can muster so please be ready for the same. To reiterate, this drive is primarily an exploration drive, and we may not know what lays ahead, even though it's just Qudra. Our objective would be to come out of it scot-free, make an easy get away from it as an ideal FB drive should be. Important: Request you not be a No-Show and instead rest well and arrive on time. In case you think there are going to be any issues withdraw from the drive as there is a long waiting list. Meanwhile do check the health of your vehicle as it will be quite hot very soon, touching 40 degrees by the time we end the drive. Attending: @Emanuel, @Srilakshman Karthikeyan, @Deepak Eswar, @Juan R, @Mahmoud Taha, @MohamedSherif, @Zulfikhar Naiyar, @Johannes Roux, @Rk ram, @Benjamin Waitlisted: 1st Drive of the week: @Arda Yagcioglu, @Haneef Thayyil 2nd Drive of the week: @Stumpy Paj, @Bjoern, @Bravoecho, @Abhilash Kottakkal,

  29. Nobody is god here, we just know a little bit more than others based on our failures and experiences. And we still learning from actual Gods of off-roading on what works and what doesn't. Remember liwa extreme recovery last year that tested everything we know and so many things we don't know? Thankfully we were blessed with amazing teamwork, that graced the whole experience.
