The LC300 with 110l should be fine, but yes if you can bring an extra jerrycan that would be great. Regarding the food: 1. Lunch we can take from the ADNOC nearby Masafi Friday market. At least that's my plan. However anything is possible and there could be certain closure times for National Day, hence i would recommend to pack sandwiches and some snacks as well. 2. Dinner Day 1 we will be not too far away from an ADNOC: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9XqFihDK5fukrLZC8 approx 10mins drive. Based on the time we arrive there we can either first drive to the ADNOC together and then make our way to the camp site. (yellow marked area is camp site) 3. Breakfast day two. Better take some snacks, croissants, from the ADNOC the evening before. 4. Lunch Day two we should hopefully reach Faqa (Dubai) which also has an ADNOC. 5. Reaching our end destination by 3-4pm in Ajban INSHALLAH3 points

Overlanding Description Embark on a thrilling two-day overlanding adventure with us as we traverse the seven Emirates 🐪🐪, minimizing our time on paved roads. This expedition promises an immersive journey through diverse landscapes🌏, including expansive deserts, majestic mountains, and unique sabkhas. Our primary goal is to relish the long ride while savoring the breathtaking scenic beauty that this remarkable country has in abundance. Join us for an unforgettable experience, exploring the hidden gems and natural wonders that await at every turn !🧭 Drive Preparation Your car should be in 100% pristine working condition, so double or triple check everything. Full-size spare tire with a lug wrench to match your wheel nut size and its depth. For aftermarket rims - Your lug wrench also needs to match the wheel nut depth. 5-10 liter of water per person per day. Snacks for breakfast, lunch, dinner and next day breakfast. Keep your car as light as possible by packing what is truly essential. 2 Fully charged radios with spare battery and all other required off-road gears. 2 full days of driving can be tiring. Take this into account when signing up. Fuel requirement: We recommend bringing an extra jerrycan of 25l with you, safely strapped. At the end of day 1 we should be nearby a gas station where people can refuel if needed. Camping Before dark, we will set up camp in a nice location. You are welcome to bring your BBQ or snacks, whatever you like. Take note to keep the camping spot clean and we will take all our trash with us. A bonfire is a possibility which we will look into closer to the actual date. Gaza Donation Description The current conflict in Gaza cannot be ignored anymore, and the death toll has now surpassed 10,000. It is time we come together as an off-road community and bundle our efforts to get attention to this conflict. Hahaha, great to see people asking for it, as it means you guys are self-reliant and learning the navigation parts of it. See attached. Small variations will be there based on the timing and progress, and Day one will end a bit earlier where will camp on that big flat Savanna in front of Maliha.2 points

Hi Jaro - thanks for the offer. Frederic has a spare and will bring along the combination Amazon wrongly suggested was the AOR FLGB SA with quick disconnect. Not the FLG 9S. you would think they would make them the same thread!2 points

Yes you can, step on loose gravel road, move forward 50 meter and park on left side to deflate. @Osama M and @Zeeshan Patel you have been moved to RSVP please confirm if you are still like to join.2 points

Goodmorning All ! @Alphin Aloor@AlexM@Jaro Tuzinsky@Soufiane@Damian@sohinik@Ahmed Farouk@Srikumar @Dan S Thanks for signing up for this event, and a warm Thank You for your donation to Tarahum for Gaza. Some important practicalities for tomorrow: 1. E11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) will be closed, so better to avoid by taking the E311 or even better, the E611. 2. Last petrol station before reaching the meeting point via E611 is here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/iHYq37m5MjMPi5ss6 3. Make sure to arrive with a full gas tank and 20l extra jerrycan (unless if you have a sub-tank in your car then no need). 4. The meeting point is only our meet and greet point. So don't deflate or put your flag up yet. Please park parallel to the road so we don't disturb traffic flow. 5. We will be using Carnity Channel 2: 446.031 Mhz. If you do not have a radio yet i will bring some spare radios you can use for this event. 6. We will be mostly off-road, either in the mountains, dunes, or wadis, so there will be limited to no access to any public toilets. However, we plan to camp not too far away from a road that leads us to an ADNOC so that could help to freshen up and restock our cooler. We can potentially have our lunch as well nearby an Adnoc. 7. Make sure to get plenty of rest. Driving for two full days with keeping focus on the off-roading aspect can be very tiring for yourself and passengers. However fun this event will be, the focus is on getting home back safely. 8. I will bring a small firepit so we can make a fire. Fire on the sand itself is not allowed. 8. In case of any emergency, my number is 0 5 6 5 0 4 2 6 3 2 I will make the convoy list and order later today. Wishing you all a good start of the weekend.2 points

I always record drives in Gaia (well if I don't forget to turn it back on after a break). Still good to see the overall plan, and of course we will deviate, this is normal.1 point

you can record it tomorrow, because the two routes i posted won't be completely accurate.1 point

Beautiful, I was thinking is a "Secret" and I wanted to create my own anyway based on our path. Thank you for this!1 point

Thanks for organizing and the extra instructions re E11. We will be driving down from AD (early start!) about 2 hrs for us. We will refill at the E11 ENOC you suggested. Our LC 300 has split 80/30 petrol tank but is thirsty - saying i only get about 800km a tank on the tarmac. This of course will be worse offroad. I will bring a 20l jerry can just in case. Just so we can plan food a bit - you are saying we will be near an ADNOC for dinner in the evening and lunch on day 1 or day 2?1 point

Hi @Ahmed Farouk the Pajero has a relatively big fuel tank, so you should be fine but will definitely need to refuel in the evening once we reach the camping site.1 point
-
Thanks Frederic for your efforts, for SWB Pajero do I need extra jerrycan since we may camp near petrol station? The reason I’ve very limited space without roof racks1 point

Hej @Damian i live in Dubai South, i have got a spare flag and suction, if you need it, pls let me know. I will join you only on the Saturday evening.1 point
-
Hey Frederic - AOR flag and suction arrived today from Amazon but are not compatible even though Amazon said they are frequently bought together. I can't get a replacement delivered in time for Saturday. Any ideas of where to get one or can I be in convoy without one?1 point
-
Not really, it's light compared to others. Patrol SWB is 2100, Pajero SWB is 1950. Mine at the weigh bridge was 2200 (Gross).1 point

Good afternoon @Waqar Sarwar @Ashutosh Garg @Gary F @Bravoecho @Shahid Mehmood @Gertjan @Bjoern @Stumpy Paj @Lawrence_Chehimi @Mike M., thank you for signing up for the drive on Saturday morning. In preparation for the weekend, please check your agenda and adjust your RSVP in case you changed your plans. We have currently 3 wait list @Rk ram @Naim Aoun and @Alex T, kindly confirm if you are still interested, I will add you. I will confirm the final list and indicate the convoy order tomorrow by the end of the afternoon.1 point
-
Hi @Zeeshan Patel My suggestion - Irrespective of it, you should RSVP and add yourself to WL - The sooner you add yourself vs Others, the higher the chances of you getting confirmed, when the Convoy is extended or a confirmed member drops - Currently I dont see your RSVP on WL even - right ?1 point
-
Hello @Gaurav any chance for opening the Waitlist ?1 point

Hey Gaurav. 2023 Nissan patrol super safari grey. I've been out more than a dozen times over the last couple of years, but it's been a while since my last time. Front and rear hooks ✅ I have all the off-road tools, and watched the video. Thanks1 point

@Feras_Sh Was it Friday Drive or Sunday drive?😂, Both @Looper and @Simon D are doing Friday and Sunday drive, am sure u got confused with this and Friday drive😂! Right?1 point

Hi Aidan Kennedy here, will be driving a silver 2016 land rover discovery LR4. For off road experience I grew up driving in muddy fields in Ireland. A few months back I did the carnity off road half day course . Tow hooks available. Have deflator, guage, radio and flag. Also have a battery operated Inflator that is basic and slow but can do the job in a push. I have watched the YouTube video. Excited to get out in the sand over the weekend. Aidan1 point

@Frederic Fantastic drive and even more loved the idea behind the awareness on the Gaza support! 🫶 1. Silly Q - Am sure even if we dont RSVP, we can still go and hit the donate button and click on "totally agree" to help you know how close u are to aimed target! 2. To be honest, I was looking forward to this drive but Too short notice for 2 days drive, so, Is it possible you can give an indication of where you plan to set up camp on Day 1 AND Can people join for partial 1 day drive owing to other commitments on day 2, and exit end of day 1? Thanks! ( and Hopeful of able to make it for day 1🤞 - If allowed)1 point
