@syedyaseerI checked with Police and insurance for my friend, he has the same condition with your brother, there is no problem to drive any car in UAE with IDL with the same category on the license as police said, I ask insurance also, they said in case of an accident if police issue the report the insurance will accept, I shared my experience but better you check and make it sure, its not on my responsibility
good luck

I have been checked with some Pajero owner friends who used this chip for more than 1 year, all of them was happy and there is no issue on the engine and lot of more hp on road and off road, but anyone wants to install is on their responsibility 🏁

Well, the title of useless SUV is a click-bait, but I don't deny much of his choices unless you have a deep pocket.
Few of the good and capable 4x4 in the list that's not at all useless but god damn expensive for dune bashing.
- Hummer H2 - Seen it doing wonders
- Range Rover - Brilliant and capable offroader
- Mercedes G63 - Probably the GOD of offroading with 3 independent diff locks - WOW
- Jeep Cherokee
- Land Rover Discovery
- Chevrolet Blazer
- Chevrolet Tahoe
Yeah maybe about the cost, as you said Dear Gaurav, some of them is the best

In my opinion the gearing is a bigger issue in the automatic Pajero than power. With the Omani Hack if you can sort out holding the lower gears at higher revs that is going to improve the performance.
yes you are right, but with omani hack its sort out when you active that but there is D light on the dashboard and other light start blinking but gear not shift even on 6*1000 rpm , people they using but i can't recommend it

This Fewbie drive was a great as every drive I have done with the Carnity family, but I was keen on exploring that “+” to see if my car and my confidence level had potential for growth. Turned out the old Pajero wanted to prove after all that it’s still potent and that boosted my confidence level. The positive feedback from the seniors along the drive also helped of course 😉.
Thanks for the guidance, help, and camaraderie I always encounter and building this cornerstone of Carnity Off-road Club carefully honed by @Gaurav @Rahimdad @Srikumar @Emmanuel and all the newer members including myself that do our best to carry this forward.
Thumbs up to my fellow fewbies and intermediates that joined yesterday 👍👍
@hossein sorry you had to cancel out. This drive was definitely more suited for drivers without passengers. I didn’t bring my son too because i wanted to remove my inner inhibitions and going more full out. See you on the next drives buddy !
Thank you so much dear @Frederic and congratulations for promoting to the next level, yes you are right because at the beginning I decided to leave the drive because of stress and fear I saw on my sister, they came here to enjoy not to give them stress, see you on next drive

This is a common issue for Pajero, you can search on the internet most of the South African and Australian forums explain how to fix it, I heard some interior shops here in Dubai also they will fix it

For a 2008 model, your premium seems to be very high. My 2014 Pajero's insurance is Dhs 2K, full comprehensive from RSA.
Just out of curiosity, what is your car's insured value?
Most of the insurance don't make comprehensive if car for more than 10 years but I checked with other companies also, the car value is 28000, its perfect motor insurance from axa

Yesterday I renewed my car insurance comprehensive for AXA for AED 2100, Pajero 2008 3.8, they said with offroad coverage but I had very bad experience and I didn't used it in offroad because I trusted someone after accident in offroad, I shouldn't

There is tons of reviews on the internet about all the cars but you can't make most of them as a reference, I have my car since 2008 and after these years still I'm happy with it, thanks God after this long I never had issues about the engine, leakage or...only routine services, any cars needed, If you compare about price and quality of the pajero, I can say it's best valued 4x4 suv for families, daily use and offroad, off course if you do not care about it even the tank will get damaged, I'm sure if I change my road tires to a/ts offroad capability of 3.8 will beat other cars easily
