quinzico
Hi to All! I'm a recent owner of a 2005 BMW 520i and since I don't know when the oil was changed I was thinking on going to one of the Adnoc Petrol Stations to change the oil. I was thinking on full synthetic for the next 10000km. I'd like your opinion regarding the oil that Adnoc put in the car - is it good? I was asked 200 Dhs, is it OK or I can get cheaper? Thanks for your help
uvri
having oil change for BMW in ADNOC not a good idea. if it was toyota corola then its a different thing
mazin
Well Adnoc oil i also doubt it, BMW uses castrol fully synthetic oil that runs for 10k kms. If you do the maths compare to Adnoc oil in 2 oil change it will equate same. Find a castrol oil with same specs as your owners manual say and get it changed from outside than dealer (to save money) then no problem.
quinzico
Thanks to both. When I was speaking about Adnoc, I didn't mean Adnoc Oil, but just to go there and get the oil changed. I suppose they sell fully synthetyc Castrol, Mobil, ELF and other oils, am I right(I hope so)? By the way, should I change also the filter? Do you now where can I get a maintenance map for the 520i? (Sorry for my ignorance on BMW's)
