Davie Smooth_Operator
Dear desert wanders @Emanuel, @Victor Socaciu, @RiadJL, @J-P L, @Gary F, @Faraz94, @Cristian, @Shaun J, @Mahesh_, @Nizar Shawwa, @topgear, @Marek and @Looper, thank you all for showing up on time this morning and allowing us to get the briefing done and move off swiftly much appreciated by all I am sure. We got off to a bit of an unsettled start with some cleanish sand but trenched by the rain, making it a tad bumpy in places and then couple that with some bushy terrain made me think we were in for a rough ride all morning. However, we soon found some beautiful virgin sand, with very few cross tracks enabling us to get a good rhythm going and a nice flow to the drive soon became apparent as we marched towards 57km's for the drive, which is pretty awesome for a Fb drive. As the convoy showed immense driving skill and enthusiasm, we soon picked up the pace and made good time past pink rock doing a loop and back around the rock again. Surprisingly we did not encounter much traffic, some bikes and dune buggies on pink rock side was about the size off it. We then headed over to red rock and again I was surprised by the virgin sand we encountered en-route, there was a tad more traffic and we made a stop to rescue a loan tour car complete with family inside that was stuck in the soft stuff, this was our good deed for the day Although I did see @J-P L with some empty plastic bottles he had picked up, so probably second good deed of the day. We then played around on red rock and again we only had a couple of refusals and one minor stuck so well done to all. A big Shout out to the support guys: @Emanuel great job as always in S/L, perfect distances, great communication and reactions to correct my tracks and follow instructions when needed. @Gary F Superb as always in the C/F position keeping the middle of the convoy on track and dealing with a handful of refusals and one or two Stucks, thanks and great to have you in the middle rock-solid support. @Looper with his new 2022 electronics in Sweep, always a pleasure to have you on one of my drives especially as we started the lead journey together so always great to catch up, fantastic sweep and support as always. Thats it from me today, have a great rest of your weekend and see you all in the sand again very soon Check out Fewbie adventures 10 Aug on Relive! https://www.relive.cc/view/vMq5gWKMm8O 4 2

Here's to add to your gallery: @Shaun J I somehow only saw you in my lens twice: @Faraz94 I think I have already told you how impressed I am with Haval? Not once? More in the gallery (although the quality of in-post pictures is much better than from the gallery). 1
