Bijujohn Posted March 30, 2011 Report Share Posted March 30, 2011 If the battery icon is lit in red color in dash, that means battery is dead or dying (weak) or alternator isnt charging battery enuf. Put some safety pins in hanging thread next to alternator while car running, if it stick to alternator magnetic field that means its working and battery is dead.
