how will i clean the fuel tank of my 206 peugeot

can i please get instructions on how to clean the fuel tank of 206 Peugeot 1999 model.

Remove the tank and empty it.fill the tank with fuel tank cleaner which you can get it from the spare parts shop.

the cleaner will have instructions which you can follow. Depending on the size of your tank, you may need more or less cleaner and as a tip dilute one part of water if you are adding 2 part of the cleaner. this is advised by the spare parts guy.

Rust and other sediments attached to the walls of the gas tank will start getting softer and mixing into the solution

dain out the solution where you will see the rust and sediments coming out.

Repeat this as required till you can see clean solution dispersing from the tank.Give it time for the tank to dry out aprox 48 hrs.When completely dry install the tank.
