Wish me luck! I have to get this car before anyone get it. Tonight i will be seeing it. If it is really as clean as owners says and if it is really looks like as it is in pictures. I already bought it on my mind.

I was driving on Low gear only to reach Faya But driving all drive with low is crazy. One of my friend also made the same mistake and when he got warning regarding gearbox we found out his mistake and switch to high. Luckily nothing happened.

Ouch, that's an expensive mistake to make. Firstly we advise everyone that never drive in LO gear as LO gear only meant for recovery, tugging, or a short drive in a sticky situation. You even surpassed that by driving when the car was overheating, but thank god you didn't blow your engine as that could have been done in next few seconds if your transmission wouldn't have failed.

OK than I am avoiding 3.0. I found one car looks nice on the pictures. Tomorrow I am hoping to see it. I have a good feeling about it.

Hi guys; I am looking for a Cherokee 3.7 2002-2007 or Pathfinder 3.5 2002-2005. I want a GCC car. I couldnt find one that i feel comfortable to buy. Most of them are already dead. If you know any nice car. I can come and check. Maybe a Sorento with 3.3 also OK to me.

I'll check it out more then, I know a few guys in Oman who have made their Gen 3 Pajero's into complete beasts and all recommended me the Unichip. Thanks, Gaurav! If I get it done I'll make sure I try to gather all the details so if anybody else here wants to they can! Cheers, Jas

Last I research a few years back and stall this idea after knowing that Unichip does a lot of magic with other cars, but not with Pajero as it interferes a lot and lot of complication may arise. With the change in time, they might be supporting Pajero now, so have you checked with Unichip official site if they are offering any Pajero specific Unichip.....?

This means there is a leak if it has happened immediately after a gas top up and it could be a big leak

@LewisCocks90 I had the same issue of blinking AC light. It would go away when I would top up the gas but would return after 3-4 months. The issue was there was a minute leak in the ac compressor, which eventually I got it replaced. Please get the compressor checked before opening the dashboard.

I took it to the garage and had the AC inspected and re gassed. They couldnt find a leak in the engine and after the regassing it now works again. However there is a chance it could have been leaking from the motor under the dashboard, but i opted not to have that check due to the labor charge. If the AC goes again within the next few days then the leak must be coming from under dashboard. After i picked up the car, the lights did start to blink for a bit where @Fuadmentioned. but have stopped. @Fuad can you explain what this could mean?

That's weird, which model and how many kms? Have you been driving in LO gear in offroad....? To cook oil and transmission....?

Yours is a different breed Pajero, trust me on this. I have taken your model to sweihan and kept a pace with modified jeeps and patrol, back in 2009 before I bought mine. Remember your Pajero made it to iftar bowl from left, more than 70% stock 4x4 cant make it even with 4 litre engine. What sertac is referring is totally different and fully restrictive with tons of sensors and limiter and down shifter curses.

If you get it scanned and post the codes here we could try and point you in a direction....

Expansion valves some times goes cucu and whistles or could be low refrigerant best would be to hook a manifold gauge at peak heat time like 10 to 1 at afternoon and get the reading's and post it here so someone can help...

Hahahahaha I know but I have no idea how much @Emmanuel was pushing it at that time. My little 3.0 had to give it all and that sometimes worries me a bit, so I wish I had a bit more reserve 😉

But Frederic you are doing very well in your 3.0 . Saw the last drive video, you were matching the velociraptor.

Coming from a 3.0 owner. Go for a 3.5 or above. The 3.0 really needs to be pushed to the limit when going for dune bashing.

Is 3.0 pajero swb have enough power? It is 2005 model.

What is the world coming to? Mustang SUVs and Land Rover sedans. Although even before I got a tiny bit excited over this I found out its going to be an electric vehicle, meh!

Yes as well for SWB Pajero 3.8 if you can get in good condition and at the price you are looking for, it would do very well. However please do note that the parts are more expensive than other Japanese car makers.

I can add the swb pajero also. I think this one should be 3.8 to use it on weekends.

Keep on looking, finding the right car is a tough job but luckily there are plenty of pathfinders and Cherokees around. And with Ramadan and summer right around the corner 4x4 prices drop so it's a good time to look for one.

This is always the issue once the wife gets the license. Get a Pathfinder 3.5 in clean condition. That would help both as a daily driver + weekend excursions.

I lost my SLK Sri. My wife took it for herself . I am looking for something that can take me from home to work and also time to time i can use it as weekend warrior. Since i am not sure about my future in this country i want something cheap. So when i am selling it i can give it little cheap and i wont loose much.

Usually pajeros doesn't have an Ac filter unless we have installed one. But may be @LewisCocks90 you can have a check for it.

The lights started blinking as soon as I collected it (but not continuously) but after a few hours and until now, they have stopped. I still have cool air blowing. what could this mean?

My clutch plates was damaged entirely, switches were having problem, car never moves even after mechanically shifted, jz simply roar only.. transmission oil was black colour (dead black recently changed 2000kms ago) so instead of overhauling better got a good transmission Assembly and taking trial now. I am studying more about it with my old unit
