Drive Report: The week leading up to this drive was a hectic one for me and i was very much looking forward to have a nice time and the drive turned up Action packed! Having dealt with a Flat tire i reached the meting point at 5.50 and found the convoy deflated and ready! Thankyou all for waiting:) We had a quick briefing and then headed out towards the dunes just behind the " Three Trees" near the solar park dirt track. Attacking every possible ridge , from hard side, slip side we made our way towards Lisaili fort. The dunes were occasionally very soft on the top and with a long convoy meant soup sand for the second half of the convoy. Brilliantly driven by the whole convoy. You did quite well @Joseph Raju for your first Second lead. well done!. The only feedback i have is to practice maintaining a distance from the lead where you have visibility of the track taken but safe enough to stop when you see the lead struggling on a patch or asking to reroute to avoid any nasty dune. While going over a ridge , expecting the unexpected, i came across a cutaway on the dune topography which quickly became unavoidable. having stopped on the slope and asking Joseph to reroute the whole convoy, i tried my best to navigate the pocket and ended up tilting my car with passenger side front wheel high up in the air. The only thing holding me from having a Sideways flip was the sand sidewall on my driver front wheel. Quick thinking and support from @Mario Cornejo, we added some" weight" to the passenger side and reversed the car out to bring all wheels to ground. However, while getting out of the pocket, i ended up having a pop out which required a multiple dual rope tugs from Mario which was coordinated by @Gok Krish and @Charbel. Team effort and persistence finally paid off when we got the car out on the flat and fixed the popout. Having lost quite a bit of time, we continued our journey finding ridges to practice our skills. We had a some refusals and stucks ( same place twice by same car!!) requiring shoveling and tugs. This was a good learning opportunity and i believe we all learned something new about ourselves and our cars! we made our way to the exit at 9 am ad the sun really started to take its toll and were out on the dirt track at 9.16 AM. Hi all, thanks for a great morning in one of the nicest areas of small dunes I have had the pleasure of cruising. @varunmehndirattagreat lead and you displayed the kind of caring, open minded approach to guiding a drive that I just love to see. No man left behind and paying heed to finishing time in the rapidly rising heat. GREAT JOB. Thanks to @Davie Chasefor being possibly the busiest CF I have ever watched! You are a tugmaster supreme. Good job @Quresh Pajero@Sudhanva Sonawane@Pieter Potgieter@Mahmoud Taha@Gregory@Tareq Al Turq for driving well and keeping your chins up during multiple stucks and refusals amongst the team, no shortage of willing shovels and encouragement. I could not see a lot from number 12 other than two Wranglies and a lot of ruts but it 'sounded like' you were having fun and learning well. Cheers to @Hisham MasaadI am so happy to be on the same drives as you every week (it seems) always a pleasure to see your smiling face. A special mention to @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler and @RiaanJH, you were the two directly in front of me that I could directly observe and I award you 100%. Great driving guys, faultless convoy discipline and not a foot wrong in the technical stuff. I commend you. Finally, thanks to the management team for honouring me with the Sweep position, it was an exciting duty for me and the first time I have been allowed it. I enjoyed eating the dust and surfing the ruts. Looking forward to a hot summer!

Dear Sand Sailors Thanks a lot for joining in for my first full lead drive and making it a memorable event. We couldn't reach the planned destination, however i enjoyed every bit of it and hope was the case for you all as well. In patches we were fast and at some instances a bit furious, overall thanks to your company it was 3.5 hours of pure fun. We started the drive at 5:34am and within first 30min crusing through the long range dunes in Qudra, we covered 15Km at 31Km/hr and just when I was about to pat my own back, @Quresh Pajero announced our first stuck of the day. After that it was @Davie Chase and his rope time as we covered only 5-6Km in next 30 min - sorting one stuck after another. @Sudhanva Sonawane found the crest on a bumpy ridge so comfortable that we had to literally tug him out and @Pieter Potgieter accomplished an amazing feat - getting a deflated Wrangler stuck on a flattest of patch 🙂, followed by another stuck by Quresh. In order to cover up the time i decided to move to Sabka and take a short route through a small patch of close knit dunes to reach Crescent Lake (was really a small patch I counted it was just like 9-10 dunes 😂). At that moment @Mahmoud Taha realized that while running late for the drive he had missed out on his Yoga poses, so he tried it with the car itself in a pocket🙂. After @Hisham Masaad winched him out crossing through the crescent lake we explored a few more ridges, handled a few more stucks, criss crossed through some dune and then as it was almost time we exited next to Solar Park. Overall we covered 48Km at an average moving speed of 25Km/Hr, really good for a FB drive especially since sand is getting soft due to heat and at the end visibility in white sand was making it tricky to criss cross or be on ridge. @RiaanJH @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler @Tareq Al Turq@Gregory i had no visual on you however based on radio and fact Deepak still had more than half the tank of fuel i believe you all had perfect drives 🙂👍 Thanks @Hisham Masaad for all the guidance, thanks @Davie Chase for all the hard work was a busy day for you and thanks @Warren Flay for keeping the convoy togather. This was a really enjoyable drive, thank you @JeromeFJ, and thank you for expertly selecting such a track now that the sand is extra soft in the heat. Remarkable to have so few refusals/stucks. Thank you also for loaning your tools so I could remove my errant mud guard, and thank you to you and @Shaaz Sha for coaching me on that steep soft climb. Unfortunately the combination of a 2.7 L Prado, the soft/steep /cross track conditions, and my lower skillset meant I couldn't make it, but I will remember these tips for future use. Looking forward to seeing you all again!

easily one of the best drives i did this year, full of adrenaline rush. demanding lot of focus, car control skills, and climbing techniques. all drivers enjoyed every second, all thanks to the leadership of king @Shaaz Sha 👑 🤘

@Shaz Shah bro thank you for a lovely joyful drive yesterday, that started with immediate big dunes and some refusals at first before getting the cars slightly adjusted after which the drive was a great fun👏. Thank you @Wrangeld for making the pop out events as an upskilling opportunity for all of us. The night drive was fantastic as it had a variety of terrain and challenges involved. My family enjoyed it as much as I did. Generally, the convoy drove very well. Thanks to @Looper and @salah2ufor the great support. @varunmehndiratta Thank you for the great drive today, it had everything, great long range dunes, some tricky ridges and some technical dunes to test the convoy, which of course all passed with flying colors . Great S/L by @Hisham Masaadand superb winch work and support and flawless sweeping by @Warren Flay kept the convoy flowing. @Quresh Pajero @Sudhanva Sonawane@DP1011 , Deepak wrangler@Mahmoud Taha @Pieter Potgieter @Tareq Al Turq @Gregory @RiaanJH you guys drove brilliantly and made the support much easier, we did have a couple of refusals and stucks but they were easily overcome with great shoveling and team work by everyone. I hope you all had as much fun and enjoyment as i did. some great pictures in the Gallery thanks for those that took them and posted them, apologies i did not take any myself but i do not think i could add any better ones to the ones that are already there. Great to see some old friends and make some new ones. hope to see you all in the sand again shortly. Enjoy the week ahead:)

Just realised that there was no photo folder at the Gallery @Kailas @Carnity
