Well done @Chaitanya D!! A dedicated off-roader, driving every weekend since the day you started! That hard work (and early ride) has certainly paid off 🥳

especially if the debriefing point is Barracuda
Actually, the cheapest place is Al Hamra Cellar, in Alhamra Village. At least 30% cheaper than the 3 providers in RAK area.

Certainly! And as we come as an indivisible pack, @Foxtrot Oscar will be there too 😁

Guys you already outguessed me!!
I wanted to ask if someone wanted to meet at Barracuda's Thunder Road Grill for lunch before going to the deflation point. They accept max 4 people per table, so if you feel like and confirm who's coming for lunch, I can book the tables. We can meet there at 1:30 PM (service is a little slow but the food is good).
Please confirm who feels like it.
PS - In case you want to shop for booze, make sure you can secure it safely in the car during the drive.
@Kalahari this time we're going the other way 🤓. But will keep it in mind.
Me me me!!! Add me to the lunch meetup please 😋

Hi Richard,
I'll make someone else from the wait-list happy, as unfortunately I have to sign out from the drive to attend the recovery training that will happen simultaneously. I was looking forward to driving with you but I'm sure there will be other opportunities in the near future!
Have fun!- 1

I'm so happy for you @Ale Vallecchi! Not surprised though but still, it is quite an achievement given the time you have been with the club and the months of lockdown. It is really nice to see you every week posting drives and being very active, meticulous, and helpful to everyone. People like you and the rest of marshals and crew involved make our weekends a lot more interesting here in the sandpit. Chapeau for that!

Special thanks to Gaurav and Richard for their efforts. The drive was very enjoyable with some learning opportunities for everyone.

Congratulations @Ale Vallecchi!!! I am not surprised to see you getting promoted. I absolutely enjoy all your drives either as a senior member, or, as was the case lately, as Lead. Perfect combination of skills, challenge and fun. Looking forward to driving more with you buddy!

Thank you everyone. Bu t honestly the kudos belongs to @Shamil and @Srikumar for planning and leading a fantastic drive. I was pleased to get another recovery under my belt and got to use the rope.
Everyone did exceptionally well, and the play area we were led to was brilliant fun. The summer sands are unforgiving, and we had another learning moment re the importance of deflating for the hot sand.
I relished rounding up the remainder of the convoy and to lead them to the safety of the team who was helping change a damaged tyre. Thank you for the trust and opportunity.
P.S. : The videos are in the gallery 😉- 1

That’s true! Good observation. Emmanuel won’t be there so we’re missing Jawaher. I believe @Tbonealso got himself an Xterra, but I don’t know if he’s joining this drive.

Congratulations @Matti Brockman! You showed great skills in the last drive where I had the opportunity to witness your driving style. It was obvious that you were enjoying the experience and had absolutely no issues keeping up with the Leads. Nice to see drivers persist in spite of the weather and its impact on the sand.
