  1. Yes man, everyone talks about how importance the kenitic rope and soft shackles, but never imagined it until now.

Super scary, I hope it won't drive off-roaders away from this sport.

This is a core lesson stresses on the very core of Carnity.

@Rahimdad, you're a better expert than I am with Pathfinder, do I need to work on my recovery points? Front and rear?

If they need some work, I need to fix them ASAP.

    Brilliant share @G.huz

I have received this yesterday while I was out and until now it was in the back of my mind to share and you did it before me.

Like these days soft shackles are must, I think we regularly need to check our tow points for internal corrosion over time.

@Frederic is there any stress test available to see if existing tow hook can be rated against 4-5 tons pull? Just a thought

If there's such a thing, that would be awesome

Guessing.. The car in front slowed down and you took your foot off the accelerator, losing momentum and then stuck.

Hmm..  the car in front looks like a Pathfinder.

I think this is what happened, passing by from the upper side might have lead to other things, maybe bad ones... So thank you @Emmanuel for taking that decision.

I think it's a smart decision to slow down, he was at a good pace and momentum, I ruined it by becoming slow.

I remember I shifted gears to pass that one, it was tricky... @Gaurav was trying to teach us a hard lesson hehe.

It was a wonderful drive, I enjoyed every bit of it, even that stuck of mine, from which I burned like 5000 calories just by turning the steering wheel left and right hahaha

True. Unfortunately the first few hours of the trip was delayed due to the refusals and other stops and my battery ran out by the 2nd or 3rd hour.
It was the first test shoot with this camera. Hopefully I can time the shots better next time.

yes yes, true... next time it needs planing hehe, when to use hehe

the way it rotates and stuff, love it man... one day, we should get all the go pro's we have, get them on a 360 video mount 😳OMG, that would be frigging awesome, it might be the first 360 video of a drive, people can move and view the drive from side... OMG, am a genius lol

Thanks for the lovely drive @Srikumar i was glad to tip my toes in the sand again after being away for a while. I always knew that one day i would become famous and known because of my stupidities, so that crest was indeed something to remember :)

I've watched the video footage of other members crossing that ridge maybe 50 times in slo-mo to see what i did wrong there and how i can avoid it in the future. In my case i was riding the ridge but starting to loosen the throttle to slowly come down off the dune, but i lost momentum and in a last effort to win back momentum and pushing the gas, the car straightened itself again, ending up sitting perfectly straight on the top of the dune.

Big thumbs up to @G.huz in the Pathfinder in front of me. He did not seem to break a sweat following @Rahimdad

Another big thumbs up to @Brette who struggled a bit initially but never lost his smile and positive attitude !

And thanks to @Gaurav for breaking in my new clutch and engine 😂. I should put a stamp on it called "Offroad Approved by Carnity's Gaurav".

See you guys next Friday !

hahahaha... thanks man, for the kind words, and thanks the great company.

i must say, despite the stucks, the drive was awesome, the dunes were wicked, i would do it again with a heartbeat.

hats off to @Brette, i couldn't say it better, so true... thanks for being positive man 👍 i need to learn that from you.

it was a lovely drive indeed, thanks everyone 👍

I had a pop out on drive with pajero group and had the worst pop out. We were not able to fix back it on 3 attempts as tyre doesn't fully got back to rim on side.

you should've seen the popup we had the other day, it was the 2nd time for me to witness a pop out, both were nasty, they looked worst than this one, and both fixed, challenge was what @Asif Hussain said

my question is, why do they happen? i mean the both cases i witnessed were with good tyres, and the low pressure wasn't that low to cause a pop out, i mean i was told these tyres should be fine at that level. i've been driving with my bad tyres with as low pressure but didn't face a pop out, and i started to believe maybe chinese tyres are not so bad, until i saw them the other night hehe, i need to upgrade now.

Dont worry buddy. Anyone in fewbie level and above qualify for this drive, it's just that it is going to be few notches above regular fewbie level and that's why its called fewbie+.

There is no hard and fast rule or numbers of fewbie drive participant should have, if you have driven any fewbie drive with Carnity Offroad Club and you managed very well in that and wish to notch up your level, then this drive is perfect for such offroaders.

    Awesome 👍😁 let's take it up a notch 😁
