Lots of good stuff has been said here for the unfortunate event, but Team @Carnity has become matured. Other clubs would stay silent, leading to ill-speaks and untrue gossips to linger, instead of accepting fate and sharing lessons learned. Dr. @M.Seidam has shown great leadership during the unprepared circumstance. As a member of the convoy and the car behind the unfortunate LC70, I can confirm there is no marshal fault nor anyone's here.

It may not be obvious at first, but these kind of events actually remind us how we are loved, by God, family and friends, for we are still alive even though we play this sport every week.

Below video of me 1-year ago is a very similar unfolding of moments leading to the incident. It still gives me goosebumps of how fast fun can turn into panic. In the end, I can only prostate and thank God I'm still alive.

PS: Glad I can help pulling the truck since I wanted to help but not sure how. Even I was chased out by @Hisham Masaad but the LC strangely got lost and exited at the same time the 2nd convoy exited to talk to the truck 😂  sometimes fate does give you a smile.

Thats very similar @Zed, like karthik i also watched Anwar’s LC fly off on the other side, that the radio silence afterwards from him afterwards was a very scary time until we were able to recover him. sometimes we push ourselves to take the highest line, be closer to the edge or go further than the car before us. But the safest route is always what the car infront or the marshals have taken.
Btw is it the same LC or a different car?

  3. exceptional leadership from @Hisham Masaad and @Islam Soliman today, thank you guys. U really showed us all how it should be done.

the drive had all the makings of Hisham's typical madmax drive until we had the unfortunate event of Ranjan's car breakdown. @Ranjan Das hope its not too much of an issue and you have it up and running in quick time.

@Karthik Raptor special thanks to you buddy, we needed all that power of your Jimny today 😂.

The rest of the usual suspects, great seeing you again as always.

  4. @Mehmet Volga clearly its not like the stock suspension has ever stopped u 😂. But since u hav decided to upgrade the MRA are a good investment, these things hold their value as in when u decide to rebuild they are just as good as new and if u want to just sell them after a good use & abuse, u wil still be able to recover some of that money spent.
stage 1 in my opinion will give you just the lift, bit stiffer than the stock maybe. Bt Like i said its not like the stocks ever stopped u so im sure even with stage1 u will fly 😂

In case one cannot find a 2010+ model for Dual VVTi , for 7000dhs you can get original Toyota Racing Development superchargers that are available for Single VVTi...  then the Single VVTi will beat both HP and Torque of the Dual VVTi 😄

I've seen it reaches 580hp for 1GR-FE Single VVTi on Supercharger 🔥  Food for thought for the Prado owners here...

To me, it sounds like Trooper's days have been numbered now.

@Frederic i have a feeling you started researching after you saw the 1GR-FEs perform in sweihan yesterday, but no way they were outperforming the green trooper 😂.

Jokes apart, thanks for sharing the document. slightly off topic from the engine, but thought will share a few more things that one may consider for decision making:

    - FJs that are pre-2013 came with single fuel tank only. Late 2013 model onwards come with dual tanks. Makes a big difference and saves the hassle of worrying about extra fuel cans.

    - Prados both the 1GR-FE engine series i.e 120 (upto 09) and 150 (2010 onwards) have dual tanks. Only the higher spec models upto 2012 came with single tanks (for some reason toyota thought this was more luxurious). Anyhow post 2013 models they have corrected and all models from base to top come with dual tanks.

    - Fortuners come with single tanks only. Solid performers, maybe slightly better than the prados in some ways except for comfort. I always thought the engines were tuned for lower hp compared to Prado due to them being lighter, had no idea about the single and double VVT-i

    - So do LC V6. Though in my opinion they are slightly underpowered due to their bulkier body. If going for an LC i would recommend looking at the 4.6L & 5.7L V8s.

    - Would love to get some feedback on the new Hilux adventure, dont have much to write about myself.
