@Emmanuel, the difference in the apps is due to the time in yours stopping when stopping the car... also my gps is based on start and hitting stop not just the actual drive time!

Yes as Mels said, my GPS calculation is for whole drive. @EmmanuelYours is for the time we were actually moving.

Total duration of drive is different,  probably due to the settings in the app and hence the average speeds are different.

Great drive @Emmanuel, again to a few previously unexplored dunes. It was a great  drive in a convoy that kept the pace up all the time. Thanks for allowing me a short taste of leading in an easy part - it certainly brought much more appreciation for the leaders that lead convoys every weekend across multiple sandy trails!! Well done to everybody!

@Chaitanya D I hadn’t paid attention to the fact that average and total speed were the same on your photo. I usually use moving speed on my gps, indeed.

@Kalahari you’re right it wasn´t a very difficult area for leading but you maintained a good pace, which is impressive since it was your first lead.
