Just want to say thanks for the drive last night to @Wrangeld and @Janarthan@Gaurav Soni@Anand Nataraj in support. Especially when my car went in to limp mode. Was fine on way home and seems perfectly normal today but obviously waiting to get it checked out before another drive! Thanks for the mini brainstorming to try get back to normal and the quick exit out 👍🏾

Drive Report

Little later than planed - a quick report.

Driving in the afternoon is more challenging because the sand is super soft. Driving in the twilight and dark adds more difficulty, because you cannot see where you are, what's in front of you and you really need to make sure you are in control of your car in ways that normally you might think pointless.

We have crossed from semi technical dunes to the wide plains of Lisaili before the light faded. Once we lost the light, we continued South West into the direction of Solar Park (avoiding the treacherous technical dunes along the way) and then eventually back towards Qudra.

Our drive was not without incident, they never are. People get stuck, things happen and cars and drivers have problems. We ended up with a recovery drive, because we had to find a quick exit for a limping vehicle (which, a bit like the Euro 2020 footballers  that writhe around on the floor after being tackled, suddenly recover and score a goal).

At the end of the day, we are all out in the desert trying to learn, to have some fun, maybe blow off a little steam and most managing our own driving and vehicles.

Have a lovely week.
