VCO
I recall some messages from other forums regarding the low-high seelctor getting stuck if not used for a looong time and some people were mentioning it need lot of force to get it move again but not sure if this is the case
Gaurav
My RR had similar issue when bought. Mechanic changed some electrical motor or circuit looking part under the car near the transmission. I am not sure the name of that part and immediately after swapping that part LO gear started engaging. I am not sure if discovery 2 also have some of these stuff or not. Let's root for each other & watch each other grow.
Sharky
I was under the impression that it was a mechanical linkage on the DII and not electrical. Some earlier models pre-2002 and all 2004 models should have the connection for Central Diff Lock (CDL) on the transfer box, it is worth fitting the linkage to utilize this off road. Cheers, Sharky
