lordmichael
Did you know that Defender 90 and 100 is also being called Land Rover for some reason. This nickname is often used by farmers thinking that a Land Rover is a model and not a brand.
Gaurav
Not only farmers, but many old people here in UAE also say Land Rover than saying Defender. Also same for old discovery series II, they call Land Rover. My father in law saw that and first thing he said oh nice clean Land Rover you got. When i clarify that LR is brand and this model is discovery, then he just noded and said yeah its same same. lolol. Let's root for each other & watch each other grow. teddy
lololol. I suppose everyone still wants to call the Land Rover models Land Rover. I also, honestly don't know why but I call mine as Land Rover too. Come to think of it, saying Land Rover should be more difficult than saying Defender or Discovery. CelticNomad
I think you will find pre the Defender name it was the Land Rover 90... Big G Tarmac is an optional extra, I forgot to add it! 2004 Discovery 'The Celtic Shamal'
