  1. Dont get too excited Zed. We don't need a Landcruiser Bowl in addition to the Pajero Bowl.

  2. It was really nice driving with you after months @Shaaz Sha! Excellent leading, excellent terrain. High pacing, optimum combination of playing and technical challenging. I loved it! ... and I marked very spots for family camping already for my future visits there. @Thomas Varghese your XT, your camera and your warm friendship ; all were ready to serve for an excellent end-of-weekend party. Thank you for your outstanding support, especially your last tugging recovery at the expense of sacrificing yourself. Your photo shots are amazing. Lucky to have you in the convoy. Well done πŸ’ͺ @Tom B; it is not a small thing handling 2nd leading after such a desert monster like @Shaaz Sha teleporting from dune to dune! But the convoy followed you and you did it great! Perfect job! @Vinod Damodaran @Felix Obst @Markus B @Michel Van Woudenberg @Simon Dawood @Will Seivewright outstanding performance, with only a few stucks & refusals, we finished just on time. Keep it up friends! It was first time for me talking Turkish to the people who are not Turkish in a convoy Nice to meet you @Markus B & @Michel Van Woudenberg. Bring your Turkish guests to the desert again! See you all on the sand soon

  3. Dear @Waqar Sarwar, looks you wait for the WhatsApp notification and you take it from there. This is causing a delay to reach to the drive post. I will tell you what I used to do: - 1st, I had a weekly reminder 10 minutes before the drives posts, to make sure I have enough time to clear things and set waiting - 1 or two minutes will visit the web site, stretch my finger and keep refreshing the web site. You need of course high speed Internet connection, that’s why better to use 5G mobile connection - As soon as the drives are posted will select the drive I need and select going. πŸ‘

  4. @Hisham Masaad I was looking to join this drive and at 7pm when the notification is received in the WhatsApp group, the drive was already full. What's the best way to ensure I don't miss future drives?

  7. Haha the "stockiest" y62 around! Probably not the right thing to do! But it has gotten me quite far. I've had no issues so far, I just try to be careful coming down from dunes and watch my speed while doing so. Thank you @Foxtrot Oscarfor an amazing drive. Probably one of the fastest ones I've had so far. Thank you to @Russ @Arman @Looper and the rest of the convoy as well. Looking forward to driving with you all soon!

  8. Thank you @Foxtrot Oscar for this yalla drive in a Sunday afternoon, I indeed needed the concentration that I wouldnt have in the morning. And I haven't had this thrilling pace for a long long while. Great IM start, and I found many places of improvement. Thank you @Looper and @Russ for supporting the drive, flawless as always, and @Arman for a clean 2nd lead, that surely helped me alot driving behind, hope you and Aisha reached home safely. Really impressive to see @Humayun Ghias driving the probably the "stockiest" family friendly y62 in IM drives, even with stock skid plate! @Zed thank you for staying with me solving the limp mode, I figured out later on from Thomas' post, but really appreaciate that you stayed with me for extra half hour!, Nissan OBD is really annoying, have to find out which reader reads Nissan now. My past fastest drive was 22kmh average moving speed, 27kmh is a new record ! wow.

  10. Oh my Faqa! You never disappoint! It had been such a long time since I had an Intermediate drive , let alone led one, and to say I was up for it is an understatement! I couldn’t wait to get out there today. We gathered on the Sabka and I wasted no time in getting into the dunes, up and over the tech stuff we went as I was salivating at the prospect of the wonderful Faqa ridges. Go fast or go home was the motto of the day as we annihilated Faqa, I don’t think there was a long-range dune we didn’t hit , we even found the infamous bowl, I do love that mad, looping little bowl of wonderfulness . It’s just so random, amongst those long-range dunes haha. We continued towards Solar and the area known to Carnity as Little Sweihan, oh what fun we had in there! We tore into every dune like a pack of marauding wolves as I searched for bigger and greater challenges , whilst maintaining a very good pace. It was great to be back out there with the you guys. Thank you so much for some excellent driving today Huge shout out to our more novice IM drivers @Zixuan Huang - Charlie and @Zed who were outstanding out there . Well done @Humayun Ghias and @Gok Krish who had flawless drives . @Ranjan Das had a very good drive. @Amir Amiri handled his truck with aplomb and @Ilya, it's always a pleasure to drive with you. Many thanks to @Arman for being a great second lead, I hope you managed to defrost. To @Looper for anchoring everything in the middle and to @Russ for sweeping up at the back. Great support as always guys Did I mention the pace? We covered 92km with 3hrs15mins of driving time BOOM! Even more impressive as we gently made our way out as I was fearful of my car going back into limp mode. Thanks again everyone for indulging me hee hee Until our next adventure 😎

  12. This is not a new category, but trip lead can always decide if they can accept new IM or only experienced one with certain number of drives.

  13. no worries man, too bad my ELM327 scanner is v1.5 and only works with Toyotas... this post here shows a photo of which scanner works with Nissan cars, I'd guess anything more than 100 dirhams would work, since the price of a Real ELM chip is US$21, so a proper OBD scanner should be priced above that... this post here shows pics of which scanners to avoid as they are cheap clones (clones meaning not using the real ELM327 chip)

  14. Revalidating "Looper" since some ppl said that you dont loop much now🀣

  15. The actual moving speed should be higher than what I have shown here. I was taking loops in the desert while @Ranjan Das was self recovering his Jeep, at a low speed so mine is actually on the lower side.

  16. @Shaaz Sha thanks for an incredible drive yesterday. The terrain was exciting and challenging in places, and the scenery was breathtaking given how clear the sky was after the recent wind and rains. Driving that extra 20-30 mins from Dubai to reach the Sharjah sands is definitely worth it in my opinion. Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to take up 2nd lead. This was the first time I had performed this role and so it was great to gain the experience. @thomasvarghese and @Mehmet Volga thanks for supporting the drive yesterday. I took a few pictures along the way which I will post in the gallery, although I am looking forward to seeing @thomasvarghese β€˜s pictures as I saw you managed to take many along the way!

  17. Excellent drive @Islam Solimantoday - one of my favorites! The post drive radio comments said it all and this drive a had a bit of everything to offer. My @Carnity website was not working becoz my annual subscription expired! I definitely had to renew this after an epic drive this morning. The cold morning started of well after me bumping into our fellow convoy mates at the ADNOC petrol station with @imranaasghar81 helping me with my coffee. Thanks for that mate and also for being and excellent CF. @Warren Flay thanks being an excellent 2nd lead and re routing when necessary. Its always a pleasure seeing your gadgero with all those mods @Davie Chase thanks for being an excellent sweep. I am sure u had good view of all of us from the back. @Daniel Yang@munkybizness@Naim Aoun @Fabien Monleau@Gilbert Khalil@Daniel Rodas an absolute delight to drive with you all See you all very soon in the sandsβ€¦πŸ˜Š

  18. Another fantastic journey with a fantastic convoy!!!! Thank you for signing up and showing there on time. It was a chilling 12 degrees at the meeting point today, and when I arrived at 6.30 ., I saw @Thomas Varghese already set and flagged... After a few moments, all of the attendees joined, and in few minutes we were all ready to hit the sand. We began slowly and hit the desert after the radio check and briefing at 7:20. The landscape appeared to be magnificent at times, yet it was deceitful at some places. In the first few minutes of the drive, we had a few refusals and re- attempts, as well as a few of stucks, and we had a few more during the drive. The terrain was difficult, but you guys conquered it. We had the opportunity to try some wonderful sideys and some excellent bowls to make it more colorful, and everyone did a fantastic job. Super soft sand and bushy technical patches presented additional challenges, but with a wonderful convoy, we were able to overcome them all.Excellent job boys..πŸ‘πŸ‘. It was a pleasure to have @Mehmet Volga on board as CF, and I appreciate your assistance with recoveries and guidances. Having you at the centre made it a lot more easier and i hope you enjoyed the ride with us. Thank you @Tom B for taking up and executing the role of 2nd lead. You were amazing with your LC and You did a wonderful job buddy. Keep it up. Thanks to @Thomas Varghese for the report and amazing clicks. As sweep you did a great job buddy. Thank you. @Vinod Damodaran , @Markus B and @Felix Obst..the wrangler boys did great today. You guys managed to negotiate with the challenges brilliantly. Keep it up guys. @Simon Dawoodyou were really good and confident today in every action and was nice to see you having fun. Keep up the spirit buddy. @Will Seivewrighthandled every challenges wonderfully and your raptor was unstoppable today. Nice πŸ‘. @Michel Van Woudenberg..you did amazing today with your brand new LC. It's my first experience watching the new LC live in action and it was wonderful and daring πŸ˜„. I believe you had enough opportunities today to know and understand the capabilities of your car. Did well buddy. It was a superb drive today with every one of you and see you soon. Some pics in the gallery. Cheers !!!
