It requires a rare combination of skill, bravery, and respect for the great outdoors. From conquering the tallest dune to racing through the sands, and wadis to traversing long distances, off-roading comes in various forms that demand unique skills, patience and above all - great teamwork. My First Absolute Newbie drive was lead by @Ale Vallecchi, for me it was would either make me continue the off-roading path, doing all the great drives that followed and meet all the remarkable off-roaders on sand, or just give it up all together. the drive was really remarkable and smooth that got us all hooked up since then, thanks @Ale Vallecchi15 points

@Vanessa8580 thank you for allowing me to lead one of your drives it was an amazing learning curve as always, and thank you for polishing my tracks you were an amazing second lead :):):) we had a little of everything as we meandered our way around the stunning dunes of Sweihan, I can see why you love this area. @Xavi Moyano sorry we had to exit you but as we said better to be safe than sorry, hope everything was ok and that it was as simple as a dodgy sensor and nothing more serious. Hope you are back up and running at full speed very soon. The convoy drove amazingly well and managed to follow me where ever i took you guys, so well done to @FERNANDO SYRIO @Emanuel @Patrick @DanielN @Pieter Pot@Paolo Pellegrini We had very few stucks and refusals but those we did have were handled extremely well by our amazing support team member @Imteeaz who did a fantastic job at CF and was backed up and supported by an amazing sweep @Zed you guys were superb, thanks you again for all the help support and encouragement. Below are the map and stats etc. for the drive. have a great week ahead and look forward to seeing you all in the sand again very soon :):)12 points

Thank you for joining this drive in Sweihan; we were lucky that the start time was at 07 00 (extra 30 minutes in bed makes a huge difference after the Eid celebrations - thank you @Vanessa8580. It was the first drive we drove together and surely it will not be our last drive. @Xavi Moyano sad that you had to leave the 2nd drive (one last week) after your Jeep decided that she had enough of the bashing. With the ambient temperature rising gradually, I believe that you took the correct decision to leave the drive a bit earlier. @Davie Chase well my 2nd drive under your lead did not disappoint at all. Keep it up mate. @Zed always a pleasure to drive together mate; i hope that you managed to remove the knot in your recovery rope and also fixed your bumper. You now have an American car that requires a bit more love than your LC. @FERNANDO SYRIO i am sure that you and your passengers had fun for this drive; keep playing and experimenting (gradually) with the tire pressures. With AT tires, you can drop the psi a bit more to gain more traction. @Emanuel as the aspiring desert arbab, you drove well and followed my tracks perfectly. as you grow in confidence, you will learn to follow the car in front of you a bit more closely (if possible of course and depending on the terrain) so that you do not lose the tracks. @Patrick great to drive with you again - i cannot remember you having any refusals during the drive. @DanielN you lines were really spot on, trying to keep up with Patrick - well done mate. @Pieter Pot @Paolo Pellegrini great to see you guys and you drove well. Until next time, enjoy your week.5 points
