Hey @Tareq Al Turq already extended the convoy by 2. Won’t be right to extend any further. Still two days to go so let’s see if any change in RSVP status. Again, a request to all - if any change in plans, please update at the earliest, so that all can plan accordingly.

Dear Desert Drivers, For Saturday morning, the plan is to explore from Nahel, the portion of desert close to the E20, going West in the direction of Sweihan. Depending on what we find and how we progress, we will either continue this line to exit to the E16, or enter more inside crossing a sabkha to reach higher dunes. We still have 2 drivers in Waitlist, so please double check your schedule and remove your RSVP in time to avoid empty spots. I will issue the final list and convoy order by the end of the afternoon tomorrow.

Dear Desertnauts, a quick head up before tomorrow's drive. We'll meet quite far from Dubai (plan a bit more than 1 hours, depending on your origin). You may refill just before Madam. The drive plans to move from one pyramid of star dunes to the next, all the way to Badayer. There are around 13 such pyramids in the area, and we'll attempt to climb and circle as many as possible, keeping in mind the exit time around 6:00PM. The extra element of difficulty should be that we'll be moving generally from the slip-faces to the hard faces. The bonus may be that we'll find less tracks and convoys then on a weekend (yet tourist will be crawling the dunes near Badayer, no matter what). The convoy order, at the moment, is the following: @Joji varghese in Second Lead @Richard Franks at #3 @Senthil Kumar #4 @Ashutosh Garg in #5 @Beide Worku at #6, and @Pacific in Sweep. We'll pick the radio channel at the meeting place. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Thanks Fredy for arranging this long awaited drive. I will be joining along with my co-pilot. Looking forward to a proper overlanding trip along with camping. Going to be exciting

@Frederic that is some serious drive and planning. I only wish i was able to join had it not been work and family commitments (have used up all my free coupons for liwa crossing 😅). But i can already imagine an epic drive for those who will be able to join.
