You take time to discover your convoys areas of improvement and segment your drives in that order 👏. Plus going above and beyond to stay with me and assist with the form submission on the dubai police app even after everyone left deserves another 👏 Learnings from the drive 1. Plate numbers need to be glued and bolted into the bumper for extra protection. 2. Being a Jimny, ride riding can be tough due to being a smaller vehicle, requires 200% attention. Summary on plate: Got a call from the police to confirm where the plate was lost. After the certificate was received I went to Ras Al Khor heavy vehicle testing branch, as they are the only ones having a print factory. 75 dhs later, plate was in hand. Bracket was ordered from Amazon. All well and good and thank you all for the treasure hunt! #JimnyPower

Dubizzle worked for me last week. car sold within 20mins of being posted to the first inquirer. (Probably was too cheep 😂) the trick is being realistic with your price. Make sure you have some fun with the dealers that make stupid offers, I had one going for two days that thought I was going to pay him to take the car 🥴

I actually bought these ones and used Shop and Ship to get it here but as @Frederic mentioned above you can now buy a similar version locally from Miles A Part. I prefer the Australian design better as it has the front pocket whereas the local version trades that off so you can retain and keep the access to the ashtray.

Hey folks, I think we're all in the same boat with our tiny cup holders, right? I just came across some cup holders that look like they could fix our problem. But there's a catch – it looks like the company is all the way in Australia, and they only ship to Australia and New Zealand. Does anyone have any ideas on how we could snag these in the UAE? Carswitch was the biggest rip off to offer ridiculous price and then pester everyday to lower price of advert to brainwash. The difference was good 20k from asking vs suggested price of the car.

Hi @Islam Soliman I think Dubizzle is not perfect, but also there are not that many alternatives. If you follow the main principles of not chatting outside the Dubbizle chat area or providing your bank details, nor engaging in conversations with potential buyers that don't even live in the UAE, you should be ok. See below some more info: I've heard about Dubicars, Bayut, etc.. but i am afraid all are same concept. Another option is to visit car dealers but that's usually even much more of a headache. Always better to try to sell your vehicle to a private person as it will fetch the best price. Car dealers will only give you a rock bottom offer as they have to clean, inspect, and resell with warranty + their commission.
